Inexpensive, great taste, and kind owners! - Edit
Vegine was PACKED on a random Tue night, which is exactly what I want to see at a vegan restaurant. It seemed like all the vegan-friendly foreigners picked the same time to visit this great restaurant. Simple menu with an English version - I ordered the “Spicy noodle soup” and really enjoyed the loaded bowl. Owner spoke some English and brought a small plate of free fruit to each customer in the dining area. Would return here again!

Nothing special - Edit
I seem to be going against the general stance on this restaurant. I thought my noodles were quite mediocre and didn't have that much taste. Also did not care too much for the stinky tofu, I've had better in Taiwan. It was filling though.

Delicious, healthy, vegan food - Edit
So delicious! Stopped here on the way through to Hualien.
Read moreThe concept is the same as veggie creek. Choose your tofu/ bean curd, veggies, leafy green and noodles. They prepare them in a standard broth.
Cozy vibe, relaxed and very filling!
Cost $355 for two big bowls of food, we got 5/6 items each in our broth.

You like Vege Creek? You will love Vegine!!! - Edit
Better than VegeCreek (and cheaper)! Family-driven shop, super friendly people. Very clean, amazingly tasty! Try the ginger paste that is standing next to the soy sauce to pimp your dish. Our kids loved it!

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in Taiwan - Edit
I have the chance to eat in this restaurant that offers to choose its ingredients and cook them directly with broth and noodles. The food was very good. Plus the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you move to Taitung

Family based Vegan Noodles - Edit
They don't provide any mock meant, the only 【mock meat】 is the vegan Taiwanese pork which developed by the boss. It is different from the normal mock meat. It is healthier and very delicious! If you are lucky enough, you can also meet the vegan kawaii baby - Nengneng~

Excellent food - Edit
It's a small restaurant cooking soups. You choose your vegetables/tofou and other ingredients (20 to 25 dollars each) and then you choose what kind of noodles or rice you want. It was very fresh and delicious! I paid 150 for a soup with noodles, a mochi, some gluten thing, 3 kinds of vegetables and some tofou. It was a huge bowl. I highly recommend it!

Excellent food and concept! - Edit
This place is definitely worth a visit. I can’t believe this is their first review. Beautiful space down an alleyway. You pay per ingredient that goes into a soup. Each costs NT$20-30. They suggest 4-5 ingredients, and you then choose brown rice or noodles. I recommend the tofu and the purple/black rice rectangle. Friendly staff. Quick service. Very clean. Ecofriendly with reusable chopsticks, compost and filtered water. Enjoy!
