Super inexpensive Taiwanese “burrito” - Edit
I stopped here for a quick breakfast before a long bike ride along the coast. Their menu is extensive with lots of good looking options, but I wanted something easy so I grabbed the “Whole Wheat Wrap with Black Glutinous Rice” to go. Simple but very tasty - and only 40 TWD! I’d come back to try some of their other offerings

Fresh and simple - Edit
Nice outside kitchen, a couple of tables in the space behind it (AC). We arrived at 4pm, when it was hard to get food elsewhere, to find a couple of guests and a warm kitchen here.
Read moreMostly vegan (1 dish contains optional egg), simple but tasty dishes, quite affordable (avg. 50$ per dish). Vegetarian Soup and spicy Thai Soup had a bit too many noodles. Jiaozi were great!

Excellent eatery - Edit
You know a place is doing well when there is a long line of people waiting to get their take-away. Luckily there was some place inside. Over 2 days I visited a couple of times. Really enjoyed the black rice wrap, dumplings, mini rice hot pot and sesame noodles. Everything is super affordable and service is quick. Payment is only in cash

Great simple food - Edit
Delicious local food. Friendly lady at the counter speaks English and was able to explain what’s vegan and what’s vegetarian. The food was simple but full of flavour. Would come again.

Really good traditional Taiwanese food, vegetarian and very reasonably (locally) priced. Large variety of noodle and rice dishes /- mock meats. English menu available. Also serve wraps - ideal to take for lunch if passing through in the car. Highly recommended.

Springy rolls and noodles - Edit
Ordered the spring rolls and some noodles. The spring rolls were packed full of vegetables and the skin had a nice spring to it (living up to its name). Noodles were nice and springy too!

Fantastic food and so cheap. Have had the rolls in the morning as well as two noodle dishes - one with veggie spare ribs one with veggie nuggets. Really great food and so cheap! Not the biggest portions so come here to have a 'main' then walk down to the night market for snacks!

Excellent - Edit
Went here for lunch, liked it so much I came back for dinner. The food is fresh and delicious. Had a great meal for about $4. Out of the 6 staff members I interacted with, only one spoke English and she was super nice. I could tell she was passionate about the restaurant and the food.

I had the sesame noodles, they were delicious. Also tried the wraps, I really recommend the "local" one it was very eclectic and yummy. They were so kind as well, they gave us a fruit wrap for free. They also have an English menu

Wraps are good - Edit
First time I ate here I got noodle soup with spare ribs and dumplings. The dumplings were good, but the spare rib soup was pretty bad. The mock meat was flavourless and the texture was leathery. I came back and got some wraps, which were all delicious! I’d recommend them and staying away from anything with spare rib. Wraps are $40 each.

Had spring rolls and dumplings, both of which phenomenal! Menu is completely in Chinese, but they speak enough English to explain all the dishes to you. Extremely friendly service. Paid 240 for 5 big spring rolls and a plate of dumplings. Highly recommend!

best breakfast for 1 euro! - Edit
For only 1 euro I had "pork" on rice and it was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had! Just fantastic food without being pretentious. We also tried their soup with wonton and took out a couple of their wraps, which were fresh, healthy and tastful. Friendly people working here as well. Would definitely recommend eating at this place!

Hi, I ended up here, as I did not manage to find nor Hoshina either St. Marry's Health Club, not sure I was wrong or the placing on the map was, so if you find them, explain the way in your review, thanks:-). Back to this place. They had English menu and one person spoke well English. I had a soup and a wrapp. Super cheap. Air conditioned inside with some 4 tables. There are several similar kitchens next to each other, so look at the correct house nr, is clearly visible.

Ming Long Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
I grabbed a take away from here. Despite the listing saying otherwise at time of writing this, this place is 100% vego. Also as per the photos attached of the menu. There's more to this place than just spring rolls (I've submitted an update to happycow towers for this to be corrected).
Read moreWhen asking for a take away we stated we would be eating the food a day later rather than immediately. With a fine eye for health and hygiene, we were given a particular recommendation for take away since we don't have access to a fridge. It comprised some ingredients of I'm not sure what in a wrap. It was supposed to last til tomorrow but looked so good one has already been consumed. It was fabulous.
Pros: Vegan friendly, Tasty and inexpensive
