Love this spot - a must try in Taitung! - Edit
Amazing food and a sweet owner who appears to be cooking out of her home’s kitchen. Really enjoyed my meal - the bento box is a great variety of all the chef’s flavors, and she nails them all! Plant meat is very realistic too. One of the sides, a deep fried tofu, is perfectly crusted with soft, melty tofu on the inside. I also thoroughly enjoyed the crispiness added to the side of rice. Stop reading and go eat!

This place has some yummy set meals using faux meat with rice or noodles. It has an outdoor setting, which also meant many mosquitoes in the evening, but they have insect repellent available if needed. It is reasonably priced and service is fast. Menu is in Chinese only.

Great stop for vegan snacks - Edit
It's a good place to try out various kinds of Asian style fried snacks with/without sauces. Their sauces are quite amazing, whether on the soy-meat or on dumplings. Dumplings are occasionally out of stock (especially on Monday lunch time due to delivery delays). Their Chinese herbal soup is also very good if you're into Chinese herbs.
