A tasty and cheap buffet - Edit
Arrived in Taitung in the pouring rain, quite hungry. Based on Google this was open (HappyCow said it was closed but still gave it a try). Luckily the place was up and running. My last buffet in Taiwan was okay but this one was actually excellent. I put a lot of food on my plate and expected it to be weighed, she just looked at it and asked for 80TWD. Very high value for the food. I really liked the flavours and left satisfied. Throughout my time of being there she continued cooking and putting out large plates of fresh steaming food in the buffet. This to me is a good sign because it means that the food is fresh.

Pros: Very cheap, Big portions, Relatively fresh for a buffet

Still around, still good - Edit
Typical veg buffet is right, but i thought the food was pretty good. They eyeball the portions and weight so load up and you might get a good deal.
Read morePros: Small, not too many options
Cons: Reuse of tongs is dubious., Bring your own drink, No spicy condiments

Probably overrated/not 4.6 - Edit
Good if you’re vegan and on a budget (backpackers). Nothing really stood out.

I took 2 full plates (alot of food) and it cost me 120NTD.
Pros: 99% of the dishes are vegan and the owner is very

Apparently they do not serve dinner (I went once at 18:30) sonI guess that's a place for lunch.. It was difficult to communicate with words but the owner has a generous heart. She invited me to share her family's dinner, an unique experience..
I went back there during lunch time, so this place is opened for lunch!
Pros: Simple and good. Warm welcome

Excellent and very cheap buffet - Edit
One of the tastiest and cheapest buffets I’ve been to. She didn’t even weigh my plate, just charged me $50.

small buffet style - Edit
Classical small vegetarian (mostly vegan) bistro similar to many other in Taiwan. The fried balls are with red bean paste (not sweet)

Simple Buffet - Edit
A small family owned buffet. It's ok but very basic. Food was a little bland and also they had no tea or drinks, just soup.
