If you’re up early, get some vegan congee from Zhouxian. They add a homemade nut sauce to their congee in addition to chopped Chinese celery and pieces of fried crullers. Two tables are set up behind the food cart, so you can also dine in. There are jars of pickles and chili sauce if you want to kick it up another notch. Bring your own dishware and utensils to avoid using disposables.
