So good, we ended up eating here twice. Great choice of veggies, meat replacements and a variety of tofu. If looking for cheap eat on average over 4 meals about 110NT

By Far Best Veg/Vegan buffet in Kaoshiong - Edit
This place is a dream. The food is served buffet style in HUGE plates. Such a varied selection of vegetable dishes. And Unbelievably cheap. The ladies who work here are so nice. About 5 minute walk from Formosa Avenue MRT station. I can confirm that they are open 7 days a week.

Really nice buffet, mostly vegan (?) - Edit
A Buddhist vegetarian restaurant with a large selection of buffet options. Came here several times while in Kaohsiung. As I usually do in these places I asked what contained egg or milk, and they told me that nothing had egg, and milk was only in the desserts.
Read moreThey have a variety of tasty vegetable dishes, some mock fish and mock meat options, inarizushi, rice and noodles. One day they had stinky tofu, which I really didn't enjoy, but it seemed pretty popular. Iced sweet black tea is free. Price usually around $100 NTD for a big plate as of Mar 2023.
This place gets busy, but most people eat quickly and leave, so it's not hard to find a spot to sit. When you're done, take your tray outside and to the left.

So many options in this buffet, so hard to choose. Everything was really good and tasty. Friendly staff. We paid 100$ each full plate.

A huuuuge buffet with soo many interesting and delicious options! They also have the daikon rice cake which is so incredibly delicious and not always easy to find! Price is reasonable.

Mediocre bland food, terrible atmosphere - Edit
Not sure why this place has high reviews. Street food is 10x better at similar prices. Would give it one star if I could!
Read moreHot inside with no ac. They “ran out” of hot chili oil somehow at early dinnertime. Lots of fake meats, few fresh greens. We didn’t even finish our food, and we are a family that can EAT!
We left hungry, and ended up getting fruit from a stand across from the temple just north east of Central Park, and delicious cut pineapple by the little park.
Pros: none really
Cons: tasteless, bad atmosphere

Amazing food - Edit
This place has amazing food and a lot of different options. Everything is just super well made. At rush hours, the atmosphere can be a little tense, and the people working here also tend to get tense. For a slow and confused foreigner this might not be the friendliest place. But the food surely makes up for some short moments of discomfort, I promise.

WOW - Edit
This place is amazing. In a hustle bustle city of Kaohsiung it's like a little vegetarian oasis. There's so much variety in the food and everything I tried was great. And of course, it's cheap!

Nice buffet! - Edit
This vegetarian buffet is a bit different compared to ones you usually find in Taiwan. This one has other options and the food really tastes good! It's nice if you want to try something different.

This place is a little bit nicer and has more options than your usual veg buffet, but the price is the same.
