This place is so dang tasty... it's a salty but flavorful ride and I loved every bite. Highly recommend. I've been to Germany and I'd say it's perfectly executed

Yummy food and good service - Edit
I was just here today! It’s a great place to go with my coworkers for a variety of options near our office, and it accommodates vegans super well. Options are clearly marked on the menu so there is no confusion other than me trying to make sure which pancake toppings are vegan or not, or how to customize my drinks to be vegan on the drink menu. Food wise, I never have a bad experience. The food is good, but not great to me; I feel I may just not be super stoked on Dutch food. It’s not something I crave but I always enjoy going with coworkers and the environment of the restaurant is relaxing.

What a gem in Springfield!! I had a hard time deciding as There are so many vegan options on the menu. My meal was delicious and can’t wait to go back and try others. I forget the name of it but I had a Brat with mashed potatoes and veggies with sunflower pesto. So yummy! They also have vegan breakfast items but I was there for dinner

My partner and I split three dishes that sounded the most unique to us and we were not disappointed! The flavors were incredible! The portions were perfect! The service was wonderful! I felt like I was back in Holland with the atmosphere!

Fabulous Dutch fusion - Edit
It's a wonderful location and wonderful atmosphere. The staff are warm and fun--they dressed up on Halloween 2021. They were very helpful in picking what to eat. My wife and I had never had Dutch food before and were lost but the staff were excellent.
Read moreMany great options for vegans (I recommend tofu kapsalon), but also options for your non-vegan friends and family who might balk at a vegan-only place.
This is my go-to restaurant when I am in Springfield ever since my first visit.
Criticism:
They really ought to mark the vegetarian options. They have tons, but they only mark vegan.
They have some dishes that will never work as vegan, but several others that easily could if they used a single substitution, like vegan ice cream. It would be low-effort to make that available but they haven't. I expect management/owners would listen if suggestions were made.
Pros: Affordable. , Clearly-marked vegan & gluten-free options, Tofu is actually cheaper than meat. Sensible.
Cons: Vegetarian options not marked like vegan., Not clear on substitution policy., Dessert menu needs more vegan options

Good food; horrible service - Edit
I went here frequently and have tried most of their vegan options. The food is pretty good, with the vegetable soup and tofu scramble being my favorite dishes. Customer service is horrible- they are entitled millennials who ban people who question them- know 4 separate groups that have been “cancelled” by this pretentious place. Eat there but don’t question anything or make any kind of concern or they will ban you. This happened shortly after a waiter ran up fake tips and they called us later to tell us, and then gave us a gift card we never got to use because they found a reason to not let us come back when we complained about the service.

Great Vegan Brunch - Edit
I have only been for breakfast/brunch which has always been a positive experience. They have a few good vegan options and knowledge team that could probably help if you didn't see something you liked. I haven't utilized the patio area yet, but I love that they have it available for warmer months. A little pricey and not somewhere I would go often, but cute to check out and stop by on occasion.

Cute place, Fun to try once - Edit
The resturant was very bright and cute. The vegan options were interesting, however, it seems like most vegan dishes used a lot of the same flavors just in different dishes. A bit on the pricey end for quantity of food. Would make a good lunch date.

Amazing Place - Edit
I felt like I transplanted elsewhere once I stepped in here. Bright and fun atmosphere. All the staff was friendly. They have unique drinks along with different plant milk options and local kombucha. The Daubigny's garden savory pancake was flavorful but a tad bit oily for my liking. I ordered the tofu scramble. The tofu scramble had a light curry sauce. It was a good portion and I would definitely order it again. Both options tasted great. I also had the death by dutch chocolate pancake - changed it from the regular pancake to vegan and the regular ice cream to vegan ice cream. It's nice that the restaurant has various vegan options for the breakfast menu and the lunch menu.

Yummy Dutch Cuisine - Edit
I had brunch with family (vegan and non-vegan) at this restaurant. It has plenty vegan options and they are yummy. I grew up with Dutch speaking parents and food in the house. My parents tried to have the kids speak Dutch too. This restaurant serves Dutch delicacies with vegan options. Dutch pancakes or pannenkoeken (thin pancake) can be made sweet or savory. Some can have ice cream on top(vegan or non-vegan). It was delicious. Everyone went overboard and ordered 2 items each from the menu. The restaurant makes their own syrup from pear, apple, and spices reduction which is called strop. Yummy! The best time to come is on a weekday morning. Weekends are crowded here.

Not the real thing! Too salty and oily. " - Edit
Modern and nicely decorated interior. Coffee was not so great. The food is way to salty and oily. As a Dutchman the food was really disappointing. It is a nice try, but nothing compared to the real Dutch or Indo Dutch cuisine.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this vegan-friendly place in Springfield. They even have a vegan cheese board! While there aren’t tons of options, there is a variety and it would be fun for tea and sweets or a full meal. Very clean and stylish interior. They even have vegan pancakes (their specialty can therefore be enjoyed by all), and a good vegan berry tart for dessert.
