Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Just junk food - Edit
All the dishes are junk food.
Read moreThe portions are too big and expensive. They should make the portions smaller and lower the prices. The amount of food they waste must be astonishing :(
The description boast a huge dessert section but they only have 4 options.
The tables are close together. So not the cosiest environment. Kind of felt like you should eat fast and make room for the next customers.
Pros: Fully vegan
Cons: Portions too big, food goes to waste, Unhealthy

Great food but check the opening hours - Edit
Love the food and drinks. But I’ve tried to go a couple of times at lunch and the opening hours are not accurate. Check before travelling if you can.

Mon 1er fish and ships vegan - Edit

Favourite vegan restaurant in London! - Edit
The food is delicious, and some of my favourites include: tofish and chips and sirloin steak (3D printed, redefined meat). Many desserts to choose from, try the ice cream waffles!

The cake… - Edit
If I could do it all over again, I would just order the salted caramel cake. Tonight we ordered a kale Caesar salad, the bbq pork belly and calamari. Everything was well balanced, well seasoned, and excellent portion sizes. The service was just okay. The tables are situated very close to each other so it’s difficult to have any real privacy during your meal.

Awesome mission - Edit
Fourth time lucky getting to this place and wanted to love it but I chose the wrong dish.
Read moreLooks funky. Lovely servers. Was very excited to try something epic.
My Sis had the Tofish. Was good except for the tartar sauce which didn't taste of much but overall 8/10.
I love mac and cheese so tried the lobster mac. First bite was okay. Not very cheesy and the 'lobster' was that frozen 'prawn' stuff you get in Sainsbury's. The whole bowl was the same taste. 6/10?
Pros: All vegan, Mocktails
Cons: Could have some more low alcohol beer selection., Mocktails £8.50

Non-profit v junk food - Edit
I love this place for that it is non-profit and funds Surge Sanctuary, which makes every penny worth it for me. A good sized menu with lots of replica options you might be missing as a vegan. While the food (apart from the fish) I don’t think is AS good as some other popular vegan junk places, the vibe and the cocktails make up for this. The Seaspiracy cocktail is my favourite! Oh and they make their own bacon which is delicious.

Not worth the hype & the money - Edit
Very disappointing experience. I booked a table days before I went on this trip to London because I was so excited to dine here, as it is very hyped and highly praised in the vegan world. I must admit, the atmosphere and decoration is lovely and the staff in is super friendly.
Read moreHowever, we were highly underwhelmed by the food and cocktails and had to wait very long for our food. As a starter, my friend ordered the smoked salmon, which was garnished very poorly. It came on a blank white plate with loads of scratches. Dunno, why they didn't place the salmon on a lettuce leaf or maybe on a black slate style plate. The taste was alright.
As main course, my friend opted for the gluten free version of the Cesar Salad and didn't like it too much (for me, it was fine. It came with tempeh instead of the chicken to make it gluten free). I chose the fillet mignon with the peppercorn sauce, which was garnished very nicely. However, it was nothing special, quite boring. The steak a.k.a. filet tasted just like the ones from Green Mountain or the Aldi brand. The bacon also tasted like the one you can buy at any supermarket. The sauce was really good, the greens were perfectly steamed but boring.
Another issue we had was the sea shepherd cocktail. It was extremely sweet to the extent that we tried to dilute it with water which didn't work. We had to ask for another cocktail and weren't charged for it, but we were surprised that the staff member had no idea how this cocktail was supposed to taste like and if it was a mistake or just the recipe (also didn't offer to go ask at the bar).
We didn't keep an eye on the time, so we didn't notice we stayed until they closed. We did not get a heads up for the last order, instead the bill was put on our table without any word from the staff member.
The food was good and we had a nice evening but there are so many outstanding vegan restaurants in London so that I would not recommend this rather pricey place to any of my friends.
Pros: Nice atmosphere & decoration, Friendly staff, 100% vegan
Cons: Nothing special , Long waiting times, Over-hyped

Phenomenal! - Edit
The best place I tried in a week of trying all the London vegan eateries. I brought my mum (non vegan) and the calamari was the best she’s ever had (vegan or not). We both had the steaks that were phenomenal too. Our lovely waitress answered all our questions about what the dishes were made from. Will be back in a heartbeat!

A little to real for this vegan - Edit
This restaurant was good but a little too real for this vegan, but I’m excited for people who want to eat plant based but still like the flavor of meat and the texture. The cocktail was lovely and the food felt fresh but I couldn’t eat the “lobster”. I had the lobster Mac and my husband had the fish and chips and we split the calamari. I’ve never had real calamari but they were good, just couldn’t get past the texture, my husband who has actually had real

Was fine but not as good as expected… - Edit
The food was pretty good but I think I had higher expectations. We got the tuna Mac and cheese for starter and that was really good, only criticism would be it was pretty greasy. I got the lobster Mac and cheese as a main which was nice but nothing amazing and my husband got the waffles and ice cream which were really good. We also got some dirty loaded fries to share which were big chunky chips, not fries at all. Again, they were nice but just nothing special. I’m not one to whinge but it was just a bit of a let down! Also, we got our starter pretty quickly after ordering and then waited about an hour after that for mains. I thought they might have thanked us for waiting or something when they brought our mains but they didn’t. We both agreed we wouldn’t go back.

Not worth the hype - Edit
Sadly I was so disappointed with our visit. This was the only restaurant I had planned in London during my vacation and it was probably the least exciting/tasty place we went.
Read moreWe were seated at the front bar overlooking the kitchen because we didn’t have a reservation and it took awhile for anyone to take our order. The waiter was very nice however. At the bar we overlooked the kitchen and saw a lot of scary health hazards. One female chef kept pulling her phone out and touching it with her bare hands to then put it away and start touching food products with her hands without washing them or putting gloves on.
They were sadly out of many items- one being the 3D steak I was really hoping to try.
The piers Morgan tears drink sadly just tasted like straight alcohol. No flavor at all in my opinion.
The chicken Caesar salad was pretty good but there were only about 5 pieces of chicken in it. The dressing was a little watery and there was more in the salad than them menu stated which was a little frustrating because I wouldn’t asked to take certain things out.
We waited over an hour for the chicken sandwich after the salad was brought to us. After we saw a table of 15 get theirs before us that came in almost an hour after us we checked with the waiter. There wasn’t an apology or explanation they just said it would be out in 5 minutes. It came about 10-15 after. It was sadly really flavorless and drenched in sauce.
The chocolate caramel cake was very cold and hard. If it was warmed up it probably would have been much better. The flavor was good though but the texture really threw it off.
It took another 30 minutes to get the attention of our waiter to pay and leave. We felt really ignored the whole time. We ran out of water early on and they never asked if we wanted more or checked on us in between ordering and food.
When the check came there was again no apology and no discount for waiting almost 2 hours. I didn’t want to be a complaining American so I was nice and didn’t say anything but the whole experience was really disappointing and a large waste of time. The food was pretty bland compared to everything else we had in London and I think they just have a big hype because Ed Winters is the owner. Hopefully others enjoy but for us it was a pass if we ever come back.
