Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Really nice experience but not my favorite - Edit
We made a reservation in advance to make sure it would be possible to visit this restaurant. It was a must for us, and we planned to include this in our trip, specially after reading the amazing reviews, and also it was very meaningful for us.
Read moreBy curiosity, we asked for a 3D steak with mushroom sauce and it was an amazing experience! The texture is good and the taste also good, but not too complex as I expected. We also tried the Fish 'n Chips and it was my favorite one. The service was a little bit slow, but the house was full. The passion fruit lemonade was amazing!
I recommend it, totally worth a try, even if it's a little more expensive as usual. 🌱

The food was boring and tasted blunt.
Service was great, but we were disappointed in regards of all the top ratings this place got.
Pros: Service, Speed

Perfect - we’ll be back in a couple of days - Edit
The food was so fresh and perfectly presented and prepared. Tofish and chips was unreal. Service great. Booking was easy. Can’t fault this fantastic restaurant - I loved that the menu wasn’t huge but had a thoughtful range and what they did they did really well.

Good, but not great - Edit
Unity Diner has a nice concept and mission, but compared to other vegan restaurants in London, it fell a bit short. While the food was decent, we’ve had much better dining experiences elsewhere in the city.

Tasty but pricey - Edit
It was a very nice dining experience at Unity Diner. Some of our dishes were absolute bangers and others were just above average. My wife’s meatballs starter was rather small and ok but my lobster mac and cheese was large and divine. Tofish and chips was huge, well priced and my wife loved the incredibly crispy batter but my steak was… overpriced, no other way of putting it.
Read more2 courses and a hot drink each was c. £80 Inc gratuity. I’d go again but be a bit more strategic in choices.
Pros: Mostly tasty food, some belting dishes
Cons: Spendy

It was delicious, but too expensive - Edit
We ordered the steak which was tasty (well, it was Redefine 💚) and the potatoes and sauce were really good, but they over prepared and dried the steak, and for this price I would have expected a better preparation.

Best vegan restaurant in London - Edit
We have visited several times when in London. It's great to eat in a fully vegan restaurant knowing the profits all go to helping the animals at Surge Animal Sanctuary. Their tofish with chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce is absolutely brilliant. Their burgers, sides, small plates, and desserts are all delicious, too. We have also tried a few of their wonderfully named cocktails. Portion sizes are generous, and we are always stuffed by the time we leave. The service is friendly, the food arrives quickly and isn't expensive. It's a must for any vegan visiting London.

The best fish & chips - Edit
Nice food and nice atmosphere. For starters/sides we had the fried corn and coleslaw, the corn was so good! For main I had the lobster roll. The roll was nice, a little disappointing as it was a little bit chewy and would have been nicer if it was warm! Raspberry Frangipane for desert was nice. Overall I was a little disappointed as I had heard so many good things and so much hype around the diner and felt like it didn't really live up to it. I would visit again though.

Yum!!! Best of British - Edit
If you’re after the perfect vegan fish and chunky chips, this spot delivers on all fronts! The fish was crispy with a tender, inside, and the chips were chunky, golden, and cooked to perfection. It’s classic British comfort food, made plant-based and delicious.
We also had the vegan chicken Caesar salad, which was packed with flavor. The vegan chicken had great texture, and the Caesar dressing hit all the right notes—creamy, tangy, and satisfying.
To top it off, I couldn’t resist the crème brûlée. It was silky smooth with a beautifully caramelized top that cracked just right. An absolute treat!
The crew was brilliant—attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The venue itself has a funky, vibrant atmosphere that adds to the whole dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving top-notch vegan

A must, in London - Edit
The tofish and chips is worth the visit: it's simply amazing.
Read moreAlso the lamb kofta were unbelievably good!
The place has amazing music and it's comfy.
The waitress though was not prepared at all to manage our questions about the ingredients and the preparation of the food (e.g. what is the steak made of, or which vegetables do I get as a side).
They were very nice: we got 10 minutes late and still found our reserved table.

Why isn't everyone vegan yet? - Edit
Why isn't everyone vegan yet? Unity Diner is the perfect example of classics turned vegan!! I really wanted to try the tofish and chips and it didn't disappoint!! Everything we tried was delicious and almost too good. The perfect london fast food!!! We went here with our daughter and kids ate for free this summer which was a nice surprise. Service was fast, nice and helpfull. I liked the music and ambiance but it was nothing special. I also liked profits go to the surge sanctuary! The future is vegan!!

Highlight in London - Edit
