Tofu scramble to die for - Edit
I discovered Daun's over my 2 days in London, and loved it! I first had the soup of the day + portion of scrambled tofu - easily the best one I've ever had! Creamy, tasty, perfect! I returned the next day to have that scramble again - this time on toast and with all the toppings. Amazing!

Great vegan cafe - Edit
We have visited here for breakfast/ brunch several times in the last 4 months. Friendly service and lovely Swedish themed vegan food all freshly prepared. My favourite, if I had to pick, is the croissant with scrambled tofu, but we haven't been disappointed with anything we've tried on menu so far. For London, the prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing apple crumble! - Edit
Good vibes, friendly staff, interesting and delicious food. There is also a small shop area to buy swedish vegan food to take away, alongside the cafe/food bit.
Read moreI liked the meatballs and sauce and salad. I didn’t like the mash but that’s just personal preference. The cracker thing was okay but bit bland for me. Overall the food was interesting, of a high quality, and I enjoyed trying it.
Edit:
Apple crumble here is phenomenal! Best apple crumble i’ve had in my life!!! I’m going to be back for the crumble and vegan cookies! Also their english breakfast tea with oat milk is amazing! I am a big tea person and the tea here was very rich in taste but not overpowering. It was just perfect!

Who knew this could be a thing! Well it is, never tried this cusine as a meat eater, glad I did now. Prices are reasonable. Recommend both on a budget and tired of the regular vegan options.

So good! I've never been to a Scandinavian vegan place before. The yogurt and granola, open faced sandwich, and side salad were all super good!

Bought a delicious gluten-free brownie from Daun’s - I’d been hunting for one all day and they didn’t disappoint! I’ll definitely return to try the full menu (five stars pending!)

Fantastico locale danese 100% plant based - Edit

Mycket bra! - Edit
Had their ham and brie cheese croissant, cinnamon bun and flat white.
Read moreOnly reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because coffee was just ok and cinnamon bun was a bit dry. I’ve definitely had better buns before and coming from Australia that has an extraordinary coffee culture I felt these weren’t as good as I hoped for.

Lovely place where I haven’t had the fortune of trying their meals. The chocolate chip cookie was great as was the kombucha from Momo. I will definitely be back to try a Scandinavian meal.

Brilliant - Edit
Independent, cafe-style venue. Also sells a few grocery type items (eg cheeses). Some of the items on the menu seem a bit like standard vegan cefe items and the many of the items are brunch/stodgy type items (albeit very good). I was particularly impressed by the number of specials. Strongly recommend this.

Loved it! - Edit
This place was such a fun lunch spot! Had a Swedish hotdog, coffee, and cinnamon swirl. The hotdog was delicious and filling with a very generous portion size. My friend had a cheese toastie and said it was the best vegan cheese he'd ever had. The coffee was pretty mid, but it was overall a delight and I'm excited to go back and try more Scandi vegan fare!

We came here for breakfast/brunch and were not disappointed. We got 3 mains and a dessert, service was friendly and interior inviting.

Only downside is oil used in the food had us both burping toxic oil the entire day following the brunch.

Great stop for a snack - Edit
We went to Daun's for a litte midday snack. I had the toastie with garlic mushrooms and camenbert which was really good and super creamy. The camenbert was the best I've ever had. The toasties are super yummy but also really oily and therefore quite heavy. So it's way more filling that expected. We also shared a vegan cinnamon role which was not too sweet and a perfect dessert.

Best Swedish Food in the UK! - Edit
My Swedish heart was so happy to find this little place in east London. Has to have a cinnamon bun Which tasted like the real thing. Coffee was also of Scandinavian strength really good, and the open Sandwich with skater tasted really authentic too. A broad menu showing vegan variations of Swedish classics and great looking selection of pastries. Owner is Swedish and really friendly😄my new go to when in London!
