Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

The last supper - Edit
Enjoyed our final dinner before returning to Scotland at Unity. The menu offers comforting dishes, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for families. We tried the chicken, double bacon burger, and tofish and chips, along with some spicy chicken legs. The burgers were delicious, though chips are an additional side order. The tofish and chips was generously sized and well-priced, with the nori adding a delightful ocean flavor. Peas and tartar sauce complemented the dish nicely, though a touch of salt and vinegar would have enhanced the chips, a familiar craving for those from Scotland. Overall, Unity provides a comforting dining experience in London, ideal for anyone seeking a taste of home away from home.

Pretty good! - Edit
Great vibe and really friendly staff. Some of the food was amazing and some was just nice! Definitely recommend the drumsticks, cheesy chips and the fish. The chimichurri potatoes and the chicken burger were good but would try something else next time.

Life changing gnocchi - Edit
The perfect fish and chips, I only wish I hadn’t gone on my last night in town so I could have gone again. The true star to me was the gnocchi appetizer which I will try and replicate for the rest of my life. The bartender was top notch and I would highly recommend eating at the bar

Excellent fish! - Edit
I got a Pan seared cod fillet, chimichurri new potatoes, and a portion of chunky fries with an aioli dip as extra. And for a drink I got a whiskey sour classic cocktail.
Read moreThe chimichurri was very nice, and tasted exactly how I hoped it would.
The pan seared cod was the closest to fish taste and texture I have had. The broccoli was tasty and the potatoes were perfect. Some roasted cherry tomatoes would have made this so much better imo.
The whiskey sour was very nice and as I hadn't had whiskey in a long time it was good to see I still enjoy it.
I got the chunky fries with aioli because i just wasn't full enough, not sure if I was just having a hungry day.
Gnome child got garlic greens, flank steak and chips with peppercorn sauce and vegan propaganda (the order was messed up and they got an alcoholic version instead).
I tried some of the steak and it was really good, I'm glad I tried the cod but if I go again I'm getting the steak. The garlic greens were excellent as well.
Nice atmosphere but fairly loud and had bright lights around the tables. So if you have sensitivity towards either of those it's something to keep in mind.

Will come back again! - Edit
I got the garlic greens and the steak and chips with peppercorn sauce, and a vegan propaganda. I also tried some of Purp's chimichurri new potatoes, pan seared cod fillet, chunky fries with garlic aioli, and whiskey sour.
Read moreThe garlic greens were delicious. Very garlicky, and I could have happily eaten more.
I was a little bit disappointed with the steak. The texture was good, but it just tasted salty to me. Steak was my favourite food before going vegan so I had very high hopes, but unfortunately I was a little let down. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was hoping for. I also wasn't into the peas, they were tough and I felt that they didn't go with the rest of the meal. The chips and peppercorn sauce were delicious though and I was stuffed after it.
The vegan propaganda was nice and tangy, although the smell and taste reminded me a little of a new car. (Edit: after seeing the receipt I realise that this is because I was actually served the version with alcohol which is Vegan Propaganda 2.0. I don't drink alcohol often as I find the taste overpowering so a lot of alcohol tastes like window cleaner to me, hence the "new car" taste that I mention above.)
The chimichurri new potatoes were very nice and treated exactly as I expected.
The pan seared cod was amazing! Crispy and fishy, if I get to come back I will get that for my main meal. However, Purp didn't find it to be very filling, which is why they also ordered chips and garlic aioli. The garlic aioli was amazing! I could have drank it! It was incredibly garlicky without being spicy or overpowering, I wish I could buy a jar of it!
The whisky sour was nice. I don't drink much alcohol as I find the taste of it overpowering, but the whisky taste in this was nicely hidden. I would definitely order one of these myself if I came here again.
My main complaint is that the menu is accessed by scanning a QR code, however when I scanned it, it didn't work for me. Luckily it worked for Purp so I was able to look at theirs. I'm not sure if they have physical menus available, I didn't see any.
Overall it was very nice, a bit expensive but that's to be expected. I would definitely recommend it!

We liked the Garlic greens, the BBQ tempeh and the tofish. The chocolate sauce that came with the icecream waffles tasted a bit cheap. That dish was too sweet anyhow.

Unity Diner - Edit
Absolutely amazing take on the Redefine Steak! I’m a vegan who is very into fitness and always looking for enjoyable vegan meals high in protein that are not completely loaded with too many fats (and even carbs). This meal was prepared so perfectly, and I didn’t feel awful (or that immediate tiredness after indulging in vegan junk foods) afterwards! I can’t wait to visit Unity Diner again.

Vegan Meat Dishes - Edit
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a good cocktail selection. A lot of dishes with fake meat, fish and cheese are offered at this restaurant. The food leans more towards fast food, but there are also some homemade-style dishes.

Fantastic - Edit
The staff and atmosphere were amazing and the food was great. My non vegan partner had the Tofish and chips and loved it and I had the Tempeh drumsticks which were so good. The menu is quite small but I get it, less is more. I would have liked a few more whole food veggie dish options rather than a menu with mostly meat alternatives. Overall a great restaurant and a great night out especially with the cocktails.

Unbelievable vegan food - Edit
This is definitely one of my favourite vegan restaurants in London. Such fantastic flavours and such an exciting and ambitious menu! This time, I tried the gochujang chicken burger with thick cut fries and garlic aioli, and it was brilliant. I also had the brownie for dessert, which was delicious and had a great texture, it wasn’t dry at all. I look forward to my next visit already😄
