Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Average Vegan Food - Edit
The food here is nice enough but nothing I would rush out to have again. The prawn starter was the highlight of the meal. The service was friendly when we could get their attention but overall they were not very attentive.

Great food for a great cause - Edit
We had breakfast here and we got the full English breakfast and the chikken waffles.
Read moreBoth were very nice and it still amazes me what we can now have as vegans.
Good drinks choice too, with all the non dairy milks available.
All the profits of the diner go to the organisation Surge, which does valuable work around animal welfare and veganism.

Brilliant Ethical Vegan Diner - Edit
Love this place - food is great and menu continually evolving - favourites include delicious fish and chips, hot dogs, moving mountains burger and prawn tempura...
Read moreBest of all, this place is non-profit with all profits going to Surge (an animal rights awareness charity) + setting up an animal sanctuary.
With more and more chains trying to cash in on the vegan wave, it is great to be able to support truly ethical places such as this.

Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Ethical
Cons: Could do with a few more wines on the wine list!

It was alright - Edit
There are better options in London. Tofish was great but the burgers were just alright compared to other well known vegan chicken burger joints. The atmosphere was nice though.

A No Brainer For Anyone Interested In High Quality Ethical Food - Edit
As someone who is transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism Unity Diner was a restaurant that I had to go to when I was in London and I was not disappointed! We were welcomed by friendly staff members and quickly given menus/ had our order taken.
Read moreThe food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection my friend who is a meat eater was astounded by the taste and genuinely loved the food. Everything was of such a high standard and it was lovely to see such a wide array of people dining here showing that veganism is truly for everyone. I had the Surf N Turf Dog, Chunky Chips and the Peanut Butter Blondie- I have no faults aside from the tempura tasting freakishly similar but this isn't necessarily a con just shows how hard the team work to create realistic versions.
Overall, I am so happy we came the food was 10000% worth the money, journey and service and I would wholeheartedly come back in a heartbeat.
Pros: Efficient service and incredibly friendly staff, Delicious freshly prepared high quality food, A moral animal rights backdrop

Consistently great food and service - Edit
I would highly recommend this as a place to take non vegans to showcase what can be done with fast food.

They have clearly put a lot of effort into the menu. It's very difficult to decide what to choose!

Good for traditional veganized meals. - Edit
The food is good if you're looking for the more traditional meals veganized, I wanted to eat something healthy but went on a weekend so the entire menu wasn't available. I went for the full english which was pretty nice.

Great burger - Edit
Came here because it’s Earthling Ed’s restaurant and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed the cauliflower wings and the cheesecake but our favourite was the Moving Mountains burger - one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Unfortunately not 5* just because there were some issues with the service, and because it was so expensive (£12 for a burger) - although we do appreciate that the restaurant is run for charity. The mural on the wall is beautiful too 💚

Great informal vegan diner - Edit
Finally managed to come here and because it was a workday afternoon, the diner was not packed as on all the other occassions I tried to nip in for a quick lunch or snack previously.
Read moreWe had the loaded nachos, a burger and the caesar salad. All very good, although despite opting for the salad, I did not have any room left for the cheese cake. So, beware of the size of the salad.
Oh, note that if you order a burger, it doesn't come with fries or side salad and the fries weren't marked gluten free, which I suppose means they are not. Bit unfortunate as my boyfriend can't digest gluten and he would normally have some fries with his gluten free burger. Anyways, the burger got the thumbs up.
Guess I'll have to come back for that cake some time.

Delicious - Edit
Great food and friendly staff. One con is I wouldn't come here in a rush (like on your lunch break from work) as I did. It wasn't a place I was able to get away from quickly, as it took a while for a staff member to be free, and then to bring over the bill and get it paid. With that exception, a great place.

Great vegan grub for a great cause! - Edit
Everything on the menu is vegan and looks appetising. Although slightly pricey, this restaurant is not for profit - all profits go towards activism & an animal sanctuary, so I don't feel bad about spending a little more than usual on my food.

Very unique hot dog! - Edit
I tried the Surf'n'Turf dog which was definitely something very unique that I've never tasted before. It is topped with fried "shrimp" which I thought were not necessary, I wasn't able to bite into the whole thing anyway so I just picked off the shrimps and ate them first. They were alright and had a slightly fishy taste. The hot dog itself was very flavorful and the mayonnaise and onions went great together with everything. I got onion rings as a side, in my opinion, they need salt or any spices, they just didn't really taste a lot. My boyfriend got the Moving Mountain burger and he was quite disappointed, I took a few bites as well and I think that the patty is in need of a lot more spices and salt. The texture is nice and meaty, but I really don't get the hype, sorry. The staff was also very friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS! - Edit
AMAZING, went for valentine's with my girlfriend and they had made the venue beautiful. fully packed out, quick service and attentive and very friendly but not 'fake' staff. Food was excellent, I had the triple stack burger which was one the the best burgers I've ever eaten and my girlfriend had the surge burger she said was fantastic. Excellent establishment and I'll be returning very soon
