Vegan paradise!

Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.

We had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!

They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.

Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Fave vegan place in London

Incredible food, the extra expense justified as it is a non-profit. The tofish and chips, mozzarella sticks and peanut butter blondie all recommended.

Brilliant Vegan Sit Down Option!

Unity Diner is a non profit vegan sit down resturant which you dont have a lot of choice for in London as most places are quick server or street food. The menu is brilliant and I've had the hotdog and the burger as well as the fish bite starter and the food is fantastic! Desserts are also amazing, the caramel cake is to die for! I would say that the service was a bit slow, but nothing to complain about as the place has always been 100% full when I've been and had to book in advance and its nice to see a buzzing and busy vegan resturant. They also have a full bar with lots of different cocktails that I'd like to go back and try maybe during the evening. They also try to reduce waste by taking any food that is left over and donating to animal sancturies when they can.

Pros: Amazing food, Beautiful design, Non profit and for the animals

Cons: Very busy and can have slow service

The best place you’ll ever eat at

A place you could take anyone and they’ll love it. You feel good about where your money’s being spent as it’s going straight to help the animals ❤️ really good value for the amount you get and ridiculously delicious. Calm atmosphere with a beautiful design and the friendliest staff

Pros: 100% vegan, Best flavours and combinations, Overall a wonderful experience

Cons: Nothing whatsoever

Stylisch, friendly and super tasty

After short dinner I was craving some sweets. This restaurant/bar was close-by and well rated. And I would say, well deserved 😁👍
Enjoyed a lovely dessert and chai latte with oat milk. Everyone is very polite and kind.

Fantastic!

I think first up you just have to commend Earthling Ed for setting up this place as a non profit business for Surge Activism 👏👏 That in itself deserves 5 stars ⭐️ The food we chose was delicious too.....Hubby had the Moving Mountains Burger 🍔 which was incredible! I had the Tofish Burger 🐟 which was incredibly “fish-like” and my friend chose the healthier Epic Salad 🥗 which she said was incredible and still very filling! Massive thumbs up from us all 💚

We had an awesome lunch at this restaurant. The staff were very kind and helpful even if I had some extra requests about my matcha latte.:) - Which is a must try btw. Food is fresh, nicely served and has a good value.

Pros: Tasty , Dog friendly , Non profit

Amazing & not for profit

Staff really nice! Good range of food & amazing that the money goes back into animal rights activism. Had some really great food - definitely get the Caesar if you’re going & try the mozzarella sticks.

Beautiful, non profit, tasty, kid friendly

I’ve followed Earthling Ed for at least a year now. When I was traveling through London and saw he had opened not only a restaurant, but a non-profit restaurant I knew I had to stop in and support it. The food was amazing! Fish and chips that actually tasted like fish and chips! 🤤 I was bummed when I thought I would be visiting London and missing out on it’s “signature dish” but thankfully Ed had my back.

My children were accepted and the staff even made efforts to talk to them just as they would adults (thanks Ali), which hit my mom heart! Not to mention my kids ate until “my stomach is going to explode”

The only small complaint is that because it was so new at the time of my visit it didn’t have it’s liquor license yet but didn’t have it on the menu that it was temporarily unavailable.

Pros: Biodegradable take away bins, Friendly , Puts it’s profits where it’s mouth is

Burgers, hotdogs and cake

The atmosphere was amazing, spacious and well light. Friendly service. As for the menu could have done with more of a variety. Chocolate cake was delicious 😋

Pros: All vegan , Not too expensive

Cons: Not enough variety

Go here for a vegan future tasty treat

Decadent junk food, all delicious and really well done. Flavours are good. Food is pretty heavy - make sure you go when you're hungry!

Great to eat delicious food and know that profits will support animal activism.

Nice to sit outside in the warmer evenings too on the tables in the quiet square outside.

The future is vegan!

Delicious vegan options, albeit a bit processed. Nice to have choices, though, and to have the non-profit connection!

Worth the wait

I’ve been wanting to get to Unity Diner for ages, but live overseas. Finally got there today and it was so worth the wait. Wonderful food, fabulous staff and service. I practically had to be rolled out the door because I ate so much! I’ll definitely be back

Pros: All the vegan food

Cons: None, not one!

Delicious food, great concept

We went there at 12pm, looking for breakfast and were quite disappointed they do not offer that anymore. But our alternative choices were actually really nice - we had the VFC burger and a huge hot dog with a side of crunchy fries. Everything tasted very good - the sausage was quite meat-like (almost too real for me). The fries were super tasty. For drinks we had a chai tea which was flavorful and creamy - the flavor reminded me of the chai at Starbucks which I used to drink years ago (which has honey in it). Also had a hot chocolate - absolutely delicious, comes with whipped cream and marshmallows, a real treat (and my dessert). The concept is great too, with all profits going to charities and a very sustainable approach to everything. Also loved the big neon sign "The future is vegan" on the wall, overall really cool interior design and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place.

Great burger

Had the mountain burger with chips and the wife had the mac and cheese. Both really nice. Great choice of meals. Everything is cooked to order and nothing is precooked, so bring time, definitely not fast food. I only wish they bring back the full English.

Pros: Everything is vegan, Great choice of meals

Great restaurant in heart of Shoreditch

First visit and really enjoyed the tofuish and chips. A generously sized battered tofu steak. I just about finished it! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu in the near future

Chic and lovely!

The food was great, cocktails beautiful. You need a reservation to get a table on busier nights. We had a fried chicken sandwich and the Mac and cheese. Both fantastic. Only not getting 5 stars because the reservation situation.

The place to go for english confort food all vegan

Highly recommend to to have a meal.
For our last meal in London we cross the city west to east just to support Unity and try real english dishes vegan
So amazed how busy it was that gave us so much joy to see a vegan restaurant doing so well and with so many nice staff. Have to hive a big thanks to Ali. The food was very generous and really disturbing when you are s vegan gor so long to try these very traditional dishes / confort food in vegan version, Unity nails it, with this tofish & chips, look like a fish fried and taste almost like it, i am vegan for 9 years so i sm maybe the right person to make the comparaison
For sure it is the perfect place to bring the meat lovers and show them they csn eat the same without the suffering of any animals.
Thankful we had that meal at Unity.

Pros: Vegan confort food tasty better than meat confort, Generous portion, Nice staff

Cons: Only confort food missing more green on the menu , Better reserving ahead it is a busy vegan place
