Vegan paradise! - Edit
Everything about our experience was brilliant from the moment we walked in the door. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, our burgers were delicious (I had the gluten-free bun) and the loaded cheesy fries were honestly the DREAMIEST! I've been longing for more of them ever since we left ..! Kudos to the incredible chefs.
Read moreWe had the 'I love Ewe' cocktail and the 'Piers Morgan's tears' cocktail (a must!). Both were great!
They even brought out a birthday brownie for my friend's 40th birthday weekend... such a lovely touch! On top of everything the vibe of the restaurant is effortlessly cool and just a lovely place to be.
Special thanks to all the hard-working staff there! Also thanks to the legend that is Ed Winters.

Super realistic Seafood flavor😱 - Edit
I tried their award winning “ToFish and Chips” and oh boy it did not disappoint in taste & texture!
Read moreIt absolutely looked felt and tasted as “fish”! If you are a big seafood lover, I absolutely suggest trying their seafood like dishes!
It was a bit too realistic for my own taste, I used to love seafood but not the biggest fan anymore.
But this doesn’t lower any of my points for this dish, as I believe they deserve all praise for managing to re create something so realistic for transition vegan etc 👌🏻😄👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Pros: Cozy atmosphere , The ToFish menu dish was HUGE 👏🏻, Realistic popular dishes
Cons: Not enough gluten-free options

Delicious food and all profits go to the animals! - Edit
I was excited to try Unity diner after seeing it was a non-profit run by Earthling Ed, with proceeds going to an animal sanctuary. Not only does dining here save the animals by putting money into a vegan business, the profits are literally going directly to helping the animals, which I think is just awesome!
Read moreI came here with my girlfriend and a non-vegan friend, and we were all very impressed. The feel of the diner is very trendy and it just felt like a really great place to be. We came on a Tuesday night, and only just got a table at 6:30pm as the rest of the evening was fully booked up, which I think says it all!
The food itself was really delicious, between us we got calamari rings, super cheesy fries, bbq loaded fries, lobster roll and the truffle shuffle burger – and it was all amazing. For me the highlights were the calamari rings – amazing flavour, delicious dip and 8 rings which is a pretty good portion size; the bbq loaded fries – so much flavour, these were just absolutely delicious and the portion was perfect for sharing between 2 people; and the truffle shuffle burger – a juicy patty in a delicious burger full of flavour!
I didn’t try the lobster roll but my non-vegan friend really enjoyed it and was thoroughly impressed with all the food here!
We also tried the Seaspiracy cocktail which was also really tasty and reasonably priced for London (£9).
Our waiter was also really friendly and welcoming, and paying was done via QR rather than waiting for a bill which was also really nice (and it even let you split the bill through the QR).
The whole experience here was just really awesome, the vibe is amazing and I’m very excited to come back and try more!!
Pros: Awesome vibes, Delicious food, All profits go to Surge Animal Sanctuary

Perfect if you crave a vegan 'junk food' vibe - Edit
Great location, interior and varied menu. Very 'junk foody' but if you crave that then it is tasty and perfect. Had a couple of starters - tofish bites and mozzarella sticks. Both decent. Mozzarella sticks were quite heavy for my liking so consider sharing but the cheese inside was actually really nice. I am not a 'fast-food' fan but for those that are would really enjoy Unity Diner. Desserts also looked amazing so I hope to be back to try those.

Must-visit in London! - Edit
Absolutely loved our experience at Unity Diner! It exceeded our already high expectations.
Read moreLoved that the options available were different to the typical vegan offerings (gammon, egg, calamari, etc.)
I had a Seaspiracy cocktail which looked beautiful! It tasted incredibly sweet and I did think the cocktails in general were overpriced, although I love the vegan-themed names for them! Just had to get one.
The mozzarella sticks are CHUNKY! Loved that! Very garlicky dip which I also loved.
The tofish stack burger was just so delicious. Recommended!
Liked the waffles for dessert too although they were slightly too sweet for me and I wasn’t crazy about the ice cream. I hope they decide to bring out some more dessert options too as I feel this is an area that could be expanded a bit further.
The vibes of the place were lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly. The one staff member chatted and interacted with our little 2 year old mini vegan which was lovely!
There is a service charge added onto the bill also FYI.
Pros: Delicious, more unusual vegan options, Chunky mozzarella sticks, Really friendly, welcoming staff
Cons: Cocktails a bit expensive, Ice cream not the best, Service charge

The Future of Vegan restaurants - Edit
Everything about the meal was great, friendly service, nice interiors. I took two non-vegans and one is going back in a few days to celebrate her birthday. The lobster roll didn't quite live up to all the other dishes we ordered but it was still good nonetheless. I look forward to my next visit.

Great Restaurant - Edit
After a long day we startet wit two lemonades, mozzarella sticks and fried prawn.
Read moreGreat starters, but bare in mind that the sticks are filling…
As mains we’ve had the truffle burger with calamari rings as sides and the vegan chicken burger with bacon and fries.
Truffle burger is definitely a go, but the bacon on the chicken burger and the patty itself wasnt the best.
The sides and the sauces where great and we had a great evening.
Only thing we didn’t like was that the invoice was brought immediately after we had the last bite and it felt that we need to free the table even if we wanted to have some more drinks.
Pros: Great variety , Cosy atmosphere, Friendly waiters
Cons: UK seems to be very expensive

Great little diner - Edit
Tried the award winning Tofish and chips- they were amazing. Although, the menu advertises ‘chunky chips’ , but actually come with fries. We also shared the waffles for dessert , which we both enjoyed.
Read moreThere are cocktails on the menu- we tried a couple of these and they were nothing special, but very expensive.
Would definitely recommend making a reservation. They turned away so many walk-ins while we were there.

Vegan fake food done well! - Edit
Been here twice now in the last couple of months. Firstly definitely agree with everyone the tofish is amazing..I had the tofish stack the first time which I wowed over and then the omni pork on a sub which I wS dubious about but had an amazing slightly Chinese taste to ot. Chips are great but the cheesy chips very disappointing, not melt at l. Husband was disappointed with his vgc burger and wasn't keen on the fakon.
Read moreNice drinks, wine, konbucha and lager was good, didn't try the cocktails due to price.
Pros: Amazing tofish, Great choice

Great fisch & chips - Edit
Has the vegan fish and chips, not tried this sort of thing before and was amazed how well they have recreated the taste of one of my old favourites. Chips were chunky and crispy & the mush peas were sublime. We’ll chuffed and the joint is doing a great job of highlighting what can be created plant based - The future IS vegan

Great to have a vegan diner - Edit
Great variety of food and some profits go to a good cause. That may explain the slightly steep prices, even for London. The seating is nice, some of the food we liked like the “chicken” burger and the salad, others wasn’t to our taste - not a fan of the shrimps and moving mountain Hot Dog. Best to book a table here.

I’m on a mission to visit as many vegan restaurants in London as I can. Unless, the restaurant is local to me (within a 15 minute drive) I won’t go back.
Read moreThis is the first vegan restaurant which I want to visit again and soon. It’s really, really good and my meat eating friend was super impressed as well.
Friendly, attentive staff with a great selection of food. It reminds me of By Chloe but classier because of plates & cutlery and the food is slightly better too. So all the By Chloe fans who are missing their favourite vegan chain should come here instead.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Great Food
Cons: Have to book in advance, Hard to get a table

Mixed Experiences - Edit
I've visited Unity Diner twice now and have to say I had very different experiences both times. My first visit I made the mistake of ordering cocktails, which although have great names, are unfortunately overly sweet and expensive. I also found the Surge burger to be a bit stodgy (plus you have to order chips separately!).
Read moreHowever, on my second visit I ordered Wild Thing Merlot which was delicious and the Tofish and Chips which was hugely impressive! Would definitely recommend order this if you choose to visit.
The ambience was lovely but they are very busy (which is great to see!) so be ready to leave after your two hours are up!
Pros: Amazing Tofish and Chips
Cons: Overpriced and over-sweet cocktails

Amazing spot for vegan food! - Edit
Everything was great! I went here with two non-vegans and they enjoyed the food just as much as my boyfriend and I did. I got the tofish stack and it was amazing - I am really curious about the vegan calamari. My boyfriend got the BBQ tempeh and loved it. I would really recommend the fried corn starter.

Wow, honestly, just wow. Of course, don’t come here if you’re trying to eat healthy, that is not the point, but seriously, the food was just incredible. I have never had vegan fish and chips, but the one here (tofu base) was really out of this world!
