Not safe for vegans! - Edit
Absolutely disgusting. The worst dining experience I've had in a decade. Just left here tonight feeling extremely disrespected. To start, the tap system was broken and poured our beers extremely flat. I ordered a 20oz draft and was given warm 16oz cans as replacements. The table we sat at was dirty and we had to clean it off ourselves. We ordered 2 pizzas, one vegan and one traditional and one order of boneless chicken wings and an order of vegan wings. When the server brought out our food she couldn't confirm which order was vegan and which was traditional. After breaking the "boneless wings" open it was impossible to tell which one was actually chicken because the "traditional" wings were such low quality that Tyson chicken nuggets look more realistic than that crap. The pizza was mediocre at best and after the debacle my significant other whom is vegan didn't feel comfortable trusting the kitchen staff that the ingredients were actually vegan. We spoke to the manager/owner about our issues and asked for a refund on the appetizers WHICH HE DENIED AND SAID THAT WE WERE IN THE WRONG. HE COULDN'T EVEN IDENTIFY WHICH WAS WHICH HIMSELF. He offered us two more warm beers as compensation. We promptly left. After pay nearly $100 for the entire ordeal we ended up throwing the food out. I have been running professional kitchens and high end restaurants most of my adult life. Any time we have vegan options on the menu we have taken the upmost care to make sure that not only the orders were absolutely correct but that we used different cutting boards, fryers etc to ensure that there is no cross contamination. I would trust this dirty place to take any precautions for a second if I were on a vegan diet. Especially if you have allergies. We gave them the chance to do the right thing and refund our money but they accused us of being in the wrong. Absolutely stay wide and clear.

Nasty - Edit
The food was not good. Ordered mozzarella sticks and the lumberjack pizza. I was starving but barely able to finish 1 piece. Choose somewhere else.

Lots of Vegan Dive Bar Options - Edit
The Pizza Patio had a separate vegan menu which was robust. The cauliflower wings were lightly breaded and quite oily but still tasty. We also had the Vegan BBQ chick’n pizza which was okay. The sauce was sweeter than I like and the chick’n quantity was limited.

Awesome place! - Edit
Five stars if I could! I’ve been here once before a long time ago and there has been a real improvement in the food since the last time I went! I loved the mozzarella sticks I’ve never had a V cheese like that before (in a really good way!) the owner was extremely nice to us. He says they’re going through a bit of a change with the menu so there are less vegan options but still plenty to choose from! and the service was great. My boyfriend is SUPER picky about V pizza and he loved the margarita pizza that has the same cheese on it as the mozzarella sticks (obviously just not fried) 10/10 will go again!

Closed when we arrived - Edit
We ordered pickup, paid with credit card, we got a confirmation email. We arrived to pick up and the place was closed. Phone message said open. Really ruined our evening as we then had to try to find a place to go for dinner.

Great options - Edit
Had a whole plant based menu in addition to their omnivores menu. Create your own pie or choose one of the vegan versions of their regular pies. I had the vegan five alarm and it was delicious.

Good Pizza, not the best service - Edit
The Pizza was really good and they used fresh ingredients. We were sitting outside and asked if they have Wi-Fi, they said no. It was too cold outside so we went inside and saw that they indeed had Wi-Fi, the name and password was on a board inside. So they basically lied to us. Additionally the bathroom wasn't clean.

Staff unorganized - Edit
My order had to be cancelled a few times because the cashier was not communicating. The menu looked great but no one in the staff was able to take my order. I'll cut them some slack because they seemed young but after about 10 minutes of communication I think he charged my card after trying to cancel the order but was unable to let me know. Maybe he was nervous but he didn't talk. We thanked them but wound up leaving before we could order.

Truly terrible - Edit
A dreadful place - avoid at all costs. Kudos for a wide vegan selection. But the service was atrocious (you must pay in advance, and I gave a 20% tip, but nobody could even be bothered to bring us plates, cutlery, or sauces that were supposed to come with our meal). The music was insanely loud, the loudest I have ever heard in a place that claims to be a restaurant; it took multiple requests to staff to lower the music before we could finally hear our own conversation.
Read moreThe food was mediocre. Overpriced, tiny portions, and very skimpy on the vegan meat substitutes.
Beware - unexplained charges are also added to orders. Our receipt shows that we were charged an additional $8.30 charge for 'fmw 71' (??!), which corresponds to nothing we ordered (didn't notice this until after we left). Other reviews have complained about this deceptive practice too.
I live in Flagstaff but I'll never return to Pizza Patio again; what an unpleasant experience.

Horrible experience - Edit
Expect food to take 1-2 hours to prepare. The inside of the restaurant was dirty. Food was nothing to write home about, and also overpriced. Go to Pizzicleta or New Jersey Pizza instead.

Good vegan cheese - Edit
We chose a vegan pizza and while it could be better I would say that it was one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had. I probably would’ve liked one with dairy cheese a little better but as far as vegan goes it was a plus. Loved that they had a lot of plant based toppings to choose from

Good quality food, horrible experience - Edit
I'll preface that I've been vegan for a few years and in that time I've developed an intolerance to dairy. And for anyone with a more severe allergy, please triple check at this business, because they will not do it for you.
Read moreA mistake was made and I was served a meat/cheese pizza. Honestly we were questioning it bc it was really gooey but they had asked us multiple times if we were vegan and delivered it as such so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave a test bite. We immediately guessed it was not vegan but asked and it was confirmed. I was hit kind of hard by it and I knew my stomach would hate me later but I moved on. I decided to politely remind them that dietary restrictions, especially those that involve dairy (common allergy), should be taken very seriously. I served a gf table a gluten meal one time and it was a scary situation and I don't want anyone else to have to go through that if they have serious allergy concerns. Well, they did not handle it appropriately and somehow managed to blame it on us, the kitchen staff, and the table to pizza actually belonged to for the mistake. And then blamed us for not knowing it was real cheese bc it is apparently so obvious (honestly I just assumed they had found a way to get the gooey texture until I tasted it). This was the end of our visit and I left with disbelief, nausea, and anger.
I will say that the food we had was good. They make of all of their vegan ingredients in house and believe in simple quality ingredients. So going into this we were excited. If it was not for the myriad of events that followed our order (not pleasant but I won't get into more details) I would have given them 4 stars.
We got vegan caeser salad which was good. Could use more dressing so make sure to ask.
The v buffalo 'chicken' fries. Not worth it at all. They're very expensive and it's literally fries with buffalo sauce and a sprinkle of their homemade v 'chicken'. They do serve with v ranch which was good.
Last we got a Chicago style deep dish v Alfredo chicken pizza. Looks really good. By the time it came out we were ready to pack up so only took a bite. It is good and definitely high quality.
Edit: finished off the pizza for lunch the next day and it was pretty good. I would recommend their Chicago style.
I have decided to leave this here but I gave my full experience below in the comments.

I was trying to be nice and leave out the parts of our experience where emotion was involved bc I thought the owner was having an off night but after reading many other reviews I have decided that this was not the case.
Read moreOur experience in truth:
Made it abundantly clear that we are seriously vegan which he was so happy to accommodate with lots of recommendations and ranting about how good his from scratch food is.
We sit down at one of four tables with 4 other guests in the building. All of which are asked for every item that comes out if it is theirs. It never is.
15min later we get our salad that was clearly pre made with sparse toppings and dressing. Mind you this was priced and described as a decently filling salad.
Then we got our pizza (before the appetizer we ordered) and had the experience as described above. I had to remove myself from the table and when I came back, our pizza with two missing slices is now being given to the rightful table with a classy, "I know covid and all that but it's going to get thrown away otherwise". They accepted it under the condition they get another full pizza to go bc they already waited 40min for this one. He then goes to the back and blames the cook and yells at her while simultaneously saying he should have given numbers to the table instead of trying to remember. They have a bit of a screaming match but it quiets up as a to go pickup arrives. They messed that up somehow and the cook is screamed at some more. After 20min of waiting to go girl finally gets her meal and then our app finally arrived. Subpar as could be given that it cost us $10.
We get a box and pack up but as we do the screaming starts back up and escalates. The cook is blamed for everything that's ever gone wrong in the world and she leaves. He comes around and says sorry but it was so inauthentic it was laughable. I was then ranted at about how it was the cooks, the other tables, mine and the universes fault. [Continued in next comment]

He literally said the stars aligned to make this happen and also that I should know what real cheese looks like. At this point it's clear that my intention of casually reminding him of allergy concerns is useless as he does no wrong. We got up and left and tried to sit down in the car and write a review with the understanding that maybe something was off in his life and that we'd rather see small businesses live on instead of a pizza hut taking their customers. I then read other reviews the next morning and learned just how bad this man is and it really validates by opinion that he is rude, cruel, and self absorbed. My wife and I of course used our own choice vocabulary to describe our treatment but I'll let you fill in the blanks.
Read moreGo to another local small business and don't give this man your money. His staff would be better off elsewhere where they won't get berated for his mistakes.

Would give this zero ⭐️ if I could - Edit
When we first moved to Flagstaff we were excited to have this as an option but they went downhill very quickly. The “cheese” is some kind of rubbery concoction made in house. The toppings are sparse, especially considering the price. Very expensive for gross pizza. The owner does not treat employees with respect, have overhead him yelling at employees multiple times. He also has a bad reputation around town for the way he treats his dog (owner is not vegan). Try New Jersey Pizza instead- still pricy but better quality and friendly staff.

would not come back - Edit
a review said their cheese is made in house which is false, but i forget what brand they use, it’s an uncommon one. we got the mozz sticks which i literally spit out it was that terrible, not stretchy and had that weird vegan cheese plasticky taste. i got a side salad and it was not fresh at all, tomatoes were starting to wrinkle, brown spots on the greens, and dried out carrots. ranch was good tho. breadsticks would have been amazing is they were fully cooked, almost doughy in the middle. hubby got a pizza i forget which one but he enjoyed it enough to eat it. i got cauli wings which isnt battered but those were pretty good as long as you had your sauce on it, our sauce came on the side. sweetest young girl at the register was so helpful and kind, along with the cook with the long hair. two stars are for both of them and this place accommodating vegans. we both would not be back though

Delicious Pizza and More! - Edit
Got some delicious freshly baked vegan deep dish pizza (with mozzarella, tomatoes, basil). We tried the margarita but they had so many more options. Also got vegan mozz sticks with fresh marinara sauce. The friendly staff also gave us some vegan ranch dressing which was great on the crust and mozz sticks. They had a ton of other appetizer options for vegans (like Buffalo cauliflower) as well as choices for non vegans. In addition, they have a HUGE beer selection, with lots of micro brew cans and things on tap, as well as craft sodas (remember Jones soda?). Also, they have a great patio with a gas fire pit where you can enjoy all the tasty food and drinks. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in flagstaff.

We loved the goat cheese pizza, the Buffalo wings, the mozzarella sticks, and the Caesar salad! So amazing to have so many vegan options to pick from. Best cauliflower wings I’ve had in a while. But it was very pricey to get as much food as we wanted. Worth it to us but probably wouldn’t eat here other than special occasions.

We were visiting Flagstaff, and ordered the Vegan Southside Classic. The sauce is flavorful. The delicious vegan cheese is house made I believe. The sausage was great. Bell peppers, mushrooms onions.
