Vegan Junk Food to the Max - Edit
They feature a menu of burritos, sandwiches, burgers, and sides that all utilize mock meats. You've got the typical items using impossible meat and jackfruit, but I loved how Nom Eats offers other not-as-easily found substitutes that I share below.
Read moreWe ordered their Steak Burrito ($12) with seitan and what I'm guessing is a cashew-based cheese sauce. The burrito was humongous and can certainly feed two people. The seitan was juicy and filled with bbq flavor with the cheese/chipotle sauce on the denser side.
As a side, we also ordered their Curl Poppers ($5), which are fried soy curls sprinkled with a sunflower seed parmesan and garlic. This was killer and a definite treat so best enjoy it while it's hot. It resembles garlic fries but with more protein since it isn't a potato.
No, this is not healthy by any means but if you're looking for a treat that's animal product free, then this is the place to go.
Pros: Homemade meat substitutes, Great value
Cons: Limited hours of operation

Very good selection, prices are good for a vegan place, portions are big enough for left overs. Even though they were busy when we went, our food still came out fast.

Delicious - Edit
I had a Jackfruit Burrito without fries or cheese and was super delicious, especially the garlic sauce. The jackfruit was flavorful, the rice was fluffy and seasoned perfectly, the black beans were tender, and the garlic sauce was full of garlic flavor. They also packed the burrito with tons of jackfruit which I appreciated.

Incredible food! - Edit
This place is incredible! I was impressed with the options, how quickly our food was made, and how delicious it was. Parking sucks in this area but I will definitely deal with that to go back here again! Their mock meats were super good, impressing even the people I went with who aren’t vegan.

Great food and great vibe - Edit
Nom Eats is an awesome establishment! I think it's aptly described as "vegan stoner food". Definitely hits the spot when you need some jumbo burritos, salty soy curls, and delicious mock meats!
Read moreIt's located in west street market, which is an awesome cultural center with a wine lounge, band stage, pizzeria, and a desert booth. I was pleasantly surprised by the jam night when I first checked out Nom Eats. It's one of my fav spots in Reno!

The chickpea sandwich was bland. I had high hopes for this sandwich. The avocado tacos were good. There are lots of options.

Smash Burgers ftw! - Edit
My wife and I come here nearly once a week for the Smash Burgers and sometimes one of the specials. I still cant believe the special sauce is vegan, it tastes just like the kind you get at other burger places. A must try!

This place is incredible! We dropped by in passing through Reno, and were dazzled by the menu of this small business.
Read moreWe ordered the loaded fries with "steak," fried tofu sandwiches with buffalo sauce, Mac and "cheese," and the "steak" burrito; we have no photos of the food as we ate the food too quickly, just photos of our messy but satisfied faces!
Pros: All vegan! , Good food!, Large portions!
Cons: Moderate pricing (ok), Hard to find parking, Heavy street traffic getting to restaurant

Looked up places to eat while in from out of town and made sure this was the top of my list. Did not disappoint!
Read moreWill admit it was a little hard to find because I navigated from this app instead of from Google and didn't realize it was inside West Street Market so I walked past it multiple times.
There were so many options I had a hard time choosing. I settled on the nom bowl but swapped the soy curls for seitan. I also got the little side salad and it was very tasty. Someone else mentioned the nachos were good and will try to get those before I leave!
Pros: Completely vegan, Also had dessert options, Staff was ver friendly
Cons: Kind of hard to find - inside another building

The nachos were so good! - Edit
I took another reviewer's suggestion, and got the nachos. Oh my goodness! They were so tasty and I got two meals from it. You can also text them to order, if you want to minimize your time indoors. I can't wait to try the other items on their menu!

Great junk food - Edit
Sometimes you just need some vegan junk food, especially after a long drive into Reno. (I also confess that I selected my hotel based on the location of Nom Eats.) The nachos ($12 with your choice of seitan or jackfruit) were fully loaded and requires the use of utensils if you want to at least pretend to be civil. The cashier told us the steak and fried avocado tacos were her favorites, and we decided on the later. One order of tacos comes with three for $10, but you can’t mix and match. However, the fried avocado tacos were amazing, so three of them was just right. They also have a couple of beers, hard seltzer, and pie slices from Sugar Pie. The flavors they had when we went were key lime, turtle, and apple crumble. If I lived in Reno, I’d definitely come back often.
