Great vegan quick service restaurant - Edit
My favorite are the falacos. They have a bit of a kick to them, so don't order if you don't like spicy food. I could eat these every day

Great find - Edit
We stopped by The Fix on our I-80 road trip. Happy to find outdoor dining in a charming courtyard with picnic tables. We shared a couple dishes, but the Chopped Cheez sandwich was the by far the star. We also tried the Wing Combo with Buffalo sauce and seaweed hand-cut fries which were good, just not the Chopped Cheez.

Really glad I stopped by! The space is really nice, the fellow running things was friendly and helped me choose a top notch wrap, and the food was flavorful/filling.

They took forever and forgot to give us fries. - Edit
They forgot about us and we waited over half an hour for “fast food”, had to go remind them. They also forgot to give us fries with the order. Traveling so we didn’t go back. Food was okay otherwise.
Read moreOne star down for missing fries, one star for the wait. I’d give it 4 stars otherwise.

Popped in here from out of town while visiting family at the hospital. Had the firestarter, chopped cheez, and asada fries. All great. I’d do them again except I’m reading other reviews I have to try the shawarma next time I come by.

Close to Truckee Good Eats - Edit
We needed some sustenance on our road trip through Reno and found this lovely spot where we could eat outside with our pup. The service was fast and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We loved that we could take a nice walk along the Truckee river afterwards.

Visited here many many times - food is delicious. We loved their vegan wings when they had a food truck and we are happy to see them succeed with a restaurant.

Our new best vegan place to eat - Edit
Thanks to the Happy Cow app we discovered this restaurant. We ordered the beef shawarma wrap and the steak egg burrito with some fries. Everything, also the fries, was amazingly delicious, but especially the beef shawarma... wow! I think even a meat eater wouldn’t notice it’s vegan. We’re definitely going back again as long as we are in Reno!

Okay Vegan restaurant - Edit
Found this place while visiting Reno. I ordered the BBC Wrap. Tasted good. A bit too much "wrap" in terms of bread. Could have had more filler. Also ordered hand cut fries, which were disappointing, as most were small pieces too overcooked to eat. Beverage selection limited to commercial soft drinks and cheap beer. I might visit again, if no other veggie options available.

Vegan junk food, and very tasty at that. - Edit
The whole food plant based crowd might be disappointed, but for those that indulge in vegan junk food this place is for you. The Firestarter was meaty, cheesy, spicy, and brought back memories from the meat-eating days of my past. Comfort food for sure. The Seaweed Fries were an interesting spin on seasoned French fries that even my carnivorous companion enjoyed. The Falaco Fries were excellent, the highlight being the well seasoned falafel chunks and the pickled onions. Definitely a do-again, even if it wasn’t the healthiest choice I could have made. Extremely tasty food and very nice people.

Vegan Junk Food at its Finest - Edit
Formerly a food truck in the Reno area, The Fix has taken over where Nom Eats once was inside West Street Market, and has become a local staple for the definition of vegan junk food.
Read moreTheir menu comprises of wraps, tenders, fries, salads, and more all American goodness. They incorporate a lot of faux meat as well as classic falafel items that were a hit.
We ordered their Steak & Egg Burrito, the Falafel Salad, and their BBC Fries. The burrito portion was generous and loaded with seitan steak, a tofu scramble, and pico. Everything about it was definitely hearty. I also really enjoyed the Falafel Salad although I wish there had been more veggies to add to the mix. Lastly, their BBC (bacon, buffalo chicken) fries were as loaded as you can imagine with all the fixings to make it a great sharable dish. Fries were definitely on the saltier side.
Pros: Tons of vegan junk food options

A great 100% vegan restaurant. We loved the wings and Seaweed Fries. The asada fries were a bit spicy. The menu has clearly listed allergens. Nice patio for the pooches. Great customer service.

Good food but def some growing pains - Edit
I really want to love this place and support the local Reno vegan scene, but my first experience was pretty bad. My friend has an almond allergy and half the menu is mislabelled. I also hate wasting plastic, and told them I was eating here and they still gave me 3 to-go containers and plasticware when I brought my own...

Hey there! Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We are still working out some kinks in the menu so we appreciate your patience while we figure this out. However, the menu does state that we encourage anyone with food allergies to inform us at the time of ordering, so that we can be extra careful and further clarify on any dishes that might contain certain allergens. Also, all of our to-go containers are biodegradable and contain zero plastic. Sorry there was a mix up in boxing up your order. Hope you'll come back soon and we can make it up to you. -Abbey from The Fix
