Great as always - Edit
Never been disappointed by a loving hut, a reliable vegan beacon across the world. Prices are slightly more affordable compared to iceland standards.

Food with a side of cult indoctrination - Edit
The food was good but the entire experience was ruined by the weird cultish TV they have playing - lots of very weird cult-like messaging as well as extremely graphic footage of animal slaughter, war, and fake "aborted babies" (which are the kind of fakes the anti-choice movement uses as a shock tactic) all to promote the teachings of the "supreme master"

Disappointed - Edit
I’ve had a loving hut in several places around the world, and it’s always fairly decent. I don’t know if I just got the wrong two things this time or what, but this was pretty lackluster.

We ate here 2 times during our stay in Reykjavik and both times we both enjoyed our dishes so so much!! Al was so tasty and big portions and also the prices were not too expensive compared to most prices in restaurants in the city.

So good to warm up with a big portion of vegan pho after a hike in the snow. Portion sizes are huge and the prices are good.

In classic Loving Hut style - Edit
A mixed bag of really good (canton style seitan) and just ok (cheese sticks, banana split) dishes. It gets pricey if you get an appetizer and dessert but this location lives up to the loving hut name. Friendly and fast service despite arriving a half hour before closing.

Delicious Options, Great Prices, Great Portions - Edit
Probably one of the best Loving Hut locations I've been to around the world. Food came out quickly, everything was delicious. Portion size for the cost - especially in Reykjavik as an out of towner who wasn't used to paying so much for food - was absolutely incredible.

Loving Hut - Edit
This was my first stop after a long travel day. I might hit up a Loving Hut in the states every once in a while but typically I try to avoid them. This one really hit the spot though. Unfortunately this location does not have the drumsticks. Pretty wild environment inside.

Well, it's Loving Hut... - Edit
I typically try to avoid them because I don't like the cultishness, but I went here a couple of times because it was close to my accommodation and there aren't many fully vegan places in Reykjavik. Fortunately, the Supreme Master TVs weren't on while I was there, but I don't know if they're always off.
Read moreThe menu is typical Loving Hut style... lots of Pan-Asian options and a few other random dishes thrown in, lots of mock-meats, food is mediocre quality and quite oily. The steamed dumplings were watery and came with water on the plate, as if they had been boiled and not steamed. The pho was oily and I needed to add a ton of soy sauce to get any flavor. The chow mein was oily but tasty.

Was helpful but left me with questions… What would you compare the breading to? What was the flavor profile of the sauce? Appreciate you.

The portions were fantastic, value for money was similar to London and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a gem and worth trying out. It is mostly Asian cuisine with some burgers #Veganuary

Amazing selection - Edit
Visited at Saturday lunchtime and had the place to ourselves. Extensive menu, took ages to decide what to order because everything sounded great. Went for a chow mein, “ham” sushi and steamed dumplings. Decent portions and finished every last bite. Would have liked to return but unfortunately ran out of time.

Vegan restaurant - Edit
The best part is - everything on the menu is Vegan. It’s pretty cool to order whatever you want and not to look for the 🌱 to know it’s a vegan dish or can be made vegan. Other than that, quality of food is great, service always with a smile.

Solid vegan meal in Reykjavik - Edit
I’ve been to a few Loving Huts around the world, some better than others, and this one was a great option in a country with limited fully vegan restaurants. I had the fried rice and it was good! Big menu, fair prices, no frills stop before exploring the incredible country

Comfort Food - Edit
It was such a relief to enjoy a warm, hearty meal after several days of traveling, surviving on sandwiches, cold snacks, and treats while exploring Iceland. The variety here is impressive, and the prices are quite reasonable for Iceland. A must-visit when in Reykjavik!

I wanted a proper meal with veggies and was verry happy to find this place so close to our accomodation. It was delicious food and lots of choices. I'm allergic to nuts, but it was no problem to remove them from the dishes.
