Great Asian food

A fully vegan Asian cuisine. Even the wife who doesn't enjoy this type of food thoroughly enjoyed it, the food tasted fantastic and was great priced!

Pros: Lots of choices on the menu

Huge selection

This place is a short walk from the main centre. More of a cafe style/takeaway than a restaurant. Huge selection. The food came quickly and was lovely. I do feel like it slightly lacked herbs/ spices for flavour. Well priced for Reykjavik.

Pros: Lots of choice

Cons: Lacked herbs/ spices

Fresh, delicious and all vegan

It took me a long time to decide what to order here as the menu was extensive and everything sounded great! So we had to visit twice :)
First time I ordered the summer rolls and crispy tofu. Summer rolls were really fresh, lovely flavours, came with a teriyaki dipping sauce. And the crispy tofu was the crispiest tofu I’ve ever had!
Second trip was the summer kebab - vegetables with chicken style protein - and crispy wonton. They also had a wide selection of drinks and one page on the menu with burgers and other more western options. I couldn’t fault this meal, the staff were lovely, prices seem fair by Reykjavik standards. It was busy with quite a few people coming and going for a restaurant slightly away from downtown, including whole families which was lovely to see. I highly recommend Loving Hut.

Delicious

Decided to give this place a try and was definitely not disappointed! Lots of options, delicious food, very affordable. The mozzarella dippers were incredible! Possibly the nicest I've ever tried. It is very casual (could be a pro or con depending on your preference), no table service, a few booths inside however mainly seemed to be takeaways. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

Loving Hut strikes gold once again

I love visiting Loving Hut across the world. This location, like the others, including the other one in Reykjavik, is simply fantastic. This one feels more casual, and has endless options, as usual. The food is delicious. The staff was friendly even if there was a bit of a language barrier when communicating when speaking English.

People seem to be confusing the two Loving Huts in Reykjavik with one another. This one is a bit of a distance away from the city centre, about a 25-30 minute walk away from the centre.

Pros: Friendly Staff, Endless Options

Loving Hut

Great vegan Bun Bo Hue. This location is a bit away from city center but worth a stop. Ambiance was basic Loving Hut style.

Great all vegan food

Nice clean space with lots of options. Prices are good for Iceland. The beef dish was hearty and tasty and the soup was warming.

My favorite meal in 2022!

I absolutely loved this place!! The food was just amazing!! It’s a Vietnamese vegan restaurant with a lot of options, many mock meat and seafood choices. All of their meals are traditional Vietnamese food made vegan.
After being in Vietnam and trying the food there before going vegan, the experience on this restaurant was amazing!! The flavors are just like the “original” Vietnamese traditional food. 100% recommended!! 💚👏🏻

Fantastic

Phenomenal food. We did takeaway with the spring rolls, canton meal, and spicy soup. Spring rolls were crunchy and nice. Soup was deeply flavorful (a little greasy but we liked that). The canton chicken was beautifully breaded and sliced and came with a rich onion jus (think French dip chicken cutlet). Smelled some fried rice going by and want to try that next!

Pros: 100% vegan and long menu, Everything was good, Portions were huge

Cons: Long wait for takeaway (it was busy!)

Best vegan food I have ever had

We have gone here several times while staying in Reykjavik and we cannot get enough. The faux meat is top notch, service is kind, and pages of options.

I had a lot of broth/soup dishes and they really hit the spot with the cold weather!

Pros: Amazing food , Great value , So many options

Great introduction to Iceland

First meal after arriving in Iceland and very much worth it especially a it’s only 3 minutes walk from my hotel.
Good range of food both Asian inspired and western (I went for the beyond meat burger) .

Worth a stop off if you are in Reykjavík.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good value for money, Tasty!

Also, for Icelandic prices the price to food ratio is also good!

Best place ever

If you like asian food this is paradise. So much choice it's ridiculous!
The pho was great! The vegan Calimere was a bit bland though.

They had a large menu with all sort of Asian food. It was difficult to choose one. I took a Thai curry and it was really good.

A lot of alternatives, both starters and main courses. Very good food and inexpensive compared to the normal prices in Iceland! Not the coziest place, but the food is amazing and the staff is very nice.
