Fine but expensive

Delta lost my vegan meals (again) so I got this after 10 hours in a plane without food because it was the first option.

Unfortunately, the previous reviewers were correct–Farmer’s fridge is a much better option.

JFK is a nightmare for vegan food--in such a setting Farmer's Fridge is a godsend.

Quick and easy.

These are all over the US with varying options, but it’s quick and better than having no dining service on domestic flights!

Grab a snack before you board

This is a chain of booksellers/newsstand with locations throughout the airport. For a standard newsstand, they offer a welcome number of relatively healthy vegan snacks (along with the usual non-healthy and non-vegan stuff).

It was fine

They only had 2 vegan options (plus snacks), and they were very similar. One was a chickpea wrap the other was a falafel wrap (but falafel is made of chickpeas??). It wasn't that good but it was fine for an airport ig.

Pros: expensive

Expensive for the size

At least there is this option, however it seemed expensive for what they offer. Then I realized that there was a vending machine with a similar and much cheaper option.

Cons: Expensive

One of only vegan options

The falafel was really pretty good but didn’t taste like falafel. Loved that vegan items were clearly marked as vegan and it was East and convenient to purchase.

Grab-and-go vegan options

Vegan options are clearly labeled; detailed ingredient information is also included. The portions are ample and filling. We liked the vegan felafel wrap more than the vegan chickpea wrap as it had more flavor, but both were good. Also this venue offered quick and convenient access to the food as compared to the long lines observed elsewhere.
The wraps were pricey: $27 for the two, but perhaps that’s airport food pricing.

Pros: Vegan options , Filling portions , Refrigerated and fresh

Cons: Expensive
