Standard vegan fare

There were a few main options on the menu that were vegan. A burger, chilli, salad, and a vegan breakfast.
There was a brownie for dessert, which I didn't try.
They charge 75p extra for non-dairy milk in your coffee/tea.
I had the vegetable and bean chilli. It came with chips and a slice of sour dough bread with garlic margarine on it.
The chilli was tasty and the chips were crispy. They left out the sour cream to make it vegan.
The service was friendly. It just felt quite pricy for what you got, but the Lake District is not cheap for eating out in general.

Pros: Crispy chips, Good service

Cons: Bit expensive for what you get

Best vegan breakfast I’ve had out

Had a delicious Vegan Breakfast for lunch with an oat milk latte. Very cute location. Great portion sizes and at least one vegan option.

Solid options

Yep. I can confirm this place is vegan friendly, and that the food is to a good standard.

I arrived hungry and bought a vegan breakfast. Was cooked in an air fryer so was to my liking, not oily but still with all the flavour. Coffee was terrible tho.

Lovely brunch

Stopped here on a whim on the way back down from Scotland, had the vegan breakfast which was lovely. Little tip though - if you want the £7 avocado toast just order the vegan breakfast (comes with toast) and ask for avocado on the side and they will only charge you £1 extra. Would’ve ordered a cake but the only vegan option was fruitcake.

Pros: Quick service, easy access from car parks, Food was lovely, good vegan options , Dog friendly

Lovely location, food and staff

We came upon this place by accident. We had the vegan breakfast and spinach and chickpea burger. Both was excellent. Large portions and everything was fresh and homemade. Super well organised Covid protocols too and the staff were very friendly and organised plain vegan sausages with plain bread for our daughter. ;)

Really good food, brilliant service, lovely place, dog friendly. Lots of options. We had the breakfast (veggie but they do vegan too), sarnie and jacket potato. Was all very tasty. Fresh salad and the vegan fruit cake is wonderful. They do gluten free options as well as veg and vegan.

Pros: Lovely food , Good range of options , Dog friendly

Lovely spot

We just stopped in for lunch - had the vegan breakfast and it really hit the spot. Also took away a yummy (and huge!) vegan chocolate brownie. They even have a vegan afternoon tea if you book it with advance notice!! I wish we could have tried that!

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked, Vegan cake was available (near till), Vegan option on kids menu too

Cons: Cakes r out of sight- I only saw them when paying

Perfect for tired hikers

Second visit here. On both occasions have had the vegan burger, very nice with the accompanying salsa and great chips. Service is really quick even though they are always busy. The omni’s enjoyed their pie and burger and the dog enjoyed a lie down after a long day walking in the sun. Also caters well for other dietary requirements. Seating both inside and outside.

Pros: Vegan options are clearly marked
