Amazing Vegan Options!

I have been coming to the Garden Centre and coffee shop for many years. I prefer to support independents like Dean's. It is very local to me, a family run business where you're always greeted with a smile. Up until recently they have offered a modest selection of vegan items (although have always been very helpful to accommodate and what they did offer was delicious) but visited yesterday and was honestly so happy to see the huge array of vegan options they have now added to the menu! I'm not going to be able to keep away!! In my opinion they now offer among the best vegan selections in the York area.
I chatted to the manager who was enthusiastic about the new vegan choices. They do a vegan breakfast with sausages, hash browns etc, avo on toast, vegan sausage sarnie, vegan cheese toasties, sarnies, paninis (the cheese they use is violife), jacket potatoes, vegan soup, curry, pasta, vegan sausages & mash but then they do also do chips, sweet potato fries, vegan onion rings, vegan garlic bread (they will even do a vegan cheesy garlic bread) and more. I was blown away by the choice. Oh and it gets better, their vegan desserts!!! They are doing a vegan fruit crumble every day which you can get with vegan ice cream (I haven't tried this yet) and they every day they do other vegan cakes etc, I've tried the chocolate tart they've been doing a while and it is delicious honestly. I got it to take away as was too full from my main (their portions are v generous). Their food is homemade and cooked fresh to order so you do need to specify you want the vegan version when ordering which is fine.
I have a loyalty card which is well used! It can get busy on a Saturday and Sunday and sometimes a short wait for table but honestly it's worth it.
