An Artisan bakery in the heart of the village of Dunnington, just outside of York. Makes vegan bread, vegan sandwiches and has a small selection of vegan cakes too. Can also provide a full vegan and vegetarian menu for pre-ordered meeting and party catering. Open Mon-Fri 08:30-15:00, Sat 08:30-14:30. Closed Sun.

Vegan buffet - Edit
Carolyn and her team did an amazing job of providing a fully vegan buffet for my event today, most of the attendees weren’t actually vegan but were amazed at how tasty everything was. The sandwiches and wraps were all so different in flavour and delicious - the cake were to die for! I would definitely recommend Pattacakes

A 5 Start Artisan Bakery - Edit
This is no ordinary bakery, no industrially produced bread, sandwiches or cakes there. Their bread is homemade and literally the best bread we’ve tasted in all our travels. And their speciality breads on Saturdays is the highlight of the week for us – and all vegan.
Read morePattacakes are vegan friendly too. Vegan sandwiches made to order and normally there’s a vegan cake or two to choose from. As their reputation and demand grows they are experimenting more, trying new vegan things. They strive to offer fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients too.
For a full range of vegan and vegetarian sandwiches, savouries and cakes – you just pre-order a few days ahead – great for parties and catering for meetings. Their menu is extremely flexible, even catering for children’s eccentric tastes!
