My go-to in Chamonix - Edit
I have such a soft spot for Cool Cats! Over a total of maybe 10 days in Chamonix, I've probably been there six times. They don't actually have a ton of vegan options, but the couple that they do have — a veggie wrap (which you can add falafel to) and a falafel dog — are so satisfying after a day of trail running. High-quality food for a good price makes this a hard-to-beat spot in Chamonix.

Best vegan food we’ve had in the mountains - Edit
We had the falafel wrap and the staff are happy to make an adaption to the “hot dog” and serve the vegan sausage with sweet potato and salads (instead of the hot dog bun which is not vegan). There are less vegan options than the original menu but both choices were brilliant and flavourful. The staff were also really friendly. Definitely recommend🙌🏻

The ambiance and design of this place is pretty nice. They used to have a vegan hot dog but it seems to be gone though.

The staff is really nice, but sometimes the person at the front desk won’t speak French, which is strange for a place in France.

In a sea of cheese, butter, chocolates and crepes. We found this cool spot with heated outside area and blankets. Ta mainly hot dogs but you can get a side of coleslaw and veggies. The lady serving us was flexible and made the veggie option vegan!

We were initially disappointed that the bun had milk but ended up LOVING the fries with toppings! Our Omni friends ended up having to use a knife and fork to eat their dog, so it was probably easier to eat the fries!

I asked the employee what I could order that’s vegan and she explained the buns have milk in them but could give me a sausage with toppings on top of fries. Both the fries and vegan sausage were great.

Very nice place, cool vibe. Not for having a real lunch but rather for hanging out and grabbing a quick (but quality!) snack. Good home made lemonades as well and free plmped (mint, lemon, …) water. Note: Chamonix has the best tap water in the world, pimped or not😉

So looking forward to a vegan hotdog. Sadly this wasn’t on offer. The buns aren’t vegan and no vegan sausages. That said the falafel and avocado on fries was delicious.

Friendly joint with multiple veg and vegan options - Edit
Didn’t actually try the hot dogs but their sweet potato and avocado wrap with vegan sausage was very tasty and filling. Fries with guacamole (possibly not on the menu but a great vegan option) were delicious though quite oily. Excellent junky fix!

Bc they were out of vegan sausages, I couldn't get a hot dog & had the hummus wrap and the vegan cole slaw. Both were loaded with coriander, which to me is a plus. Portions size was decent, lots of salad. Unfortunately the one added falafel came to 2 euros. Other than that, the prices and portion size were solid.

Great vegan options, I had the vegan wrap which was delicious, my partner (meat eater) had the veggie hotdog which he really enjoyed!

The owner and other staff were super helpful and friendly. If we had more time we’d revisit!
