Serves meat, vegan options available. France does not have that many restaurants which recognize vegetarians, and especially ones that serve tofu properly, and ones which do spicy dishes like bibimbop are rare. This restaurant offers several vegetarian options that unlike most in France do not involve cheese. Swedish owned and operated. Open Mon-Sun 19:00-02:00.

A lot less vegan options on their new menu - Edit
We loved this place because of their great vegan options but unfortunately, their new menu has a lot less vegan options than before and the prices have gone well up.

Very good use of ingredients - Edit
I always appreciate when non-vegan restaurants have interesting vegan options and Munchie does exactly that.
Read moreI ordered the crispy fried cauliflower - which was incredibly tasty - and the tofu “satay” - which was cooked incredibly well with the right balance of flavours.

Must try the raviolis - Edit
Staff was friendly enough to explain the vegan options. The chef decides at what time the plates come out and in what order. I had the tofu, garden raviolis and the bao. The raviolis were the best I’ve ever eaten to be honest, they left me baffled. It’s a bit pricey as dishes are around 16-20€ and they recommend taking 2/3 per person. But worth a stop if you can

If only everything was vegan! - Edit
Had four vegan dishes: crispy cauliflower, tofu bibimbap, oyster mushroom bao bun and the garden gyoza.
Read moreThe crispy cauliflower wasnt 'crispy' but good.
Tofu bibimbap was intensely good but if you're not a fan of spice and/or lots of pepper- avoid!
Mushroom bao bun was delicious.
Garden gyoza's were out of this world and recommend at least two lots 😂

Absolutely delicious food - all veggie options can be made vegan - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious - we had the Sweet Potato Maki rolls, Bibimbap and the Chinese Tofu Pancakes. Food comes out when it’s ready and the restaurant was packed so we had a long wait between each course, but wasn’t a problem. Although nothing is labelled vegan all the veggie dishes can be made vegan and before we’d even finished asking the waitress said it was no problem, obviously something they are asked a lot so just updating the menu would be great - but hey that’s Cham.

Delicious Asian Fusion! - Edit
This place was great! Very popular, but we were able to get a table without reservation (on a Monday night). We ordered the veggie summer rolls, the sweet potato shiitake dumplings, the veggie maki, and the veggie bibimbap (it has an egg on top, you can order without.) Everything was really good!

Well worth a visit - Edit
Although there weren't a lot of vegan options, the dishes were delicious and nothing more was required. The waitress was super helpful too which made the experience all the better. Super tasty and something different from the usual vegan fare often offered.

absolutely the best vegan food in Chamonix - Edit
Consistently excellent and creative dishes that change by the season. after 15 years eating vegan here, I've never been disappointed. Asian influence means they rarely use cheese so most times there are 2 vegan mains and starters to choose from. Make reservations as its very popular.

Best meal I had in France! - Edit
My husband and I just finished the Tour du Mont Blanc and while in Chamonix ate at Munchie twice. They have two entrees that are vegan and they were both amazing. One is a grilled vegetable plate with teriyaki sauce. It included cabbage, bok choy, mushrooms, shallots, carrots and broccoli. It had spring rolls that were filled with sticky rice and cilantro. The other dish was tofu cut in medium sized cubes that was delicately fried. The sauce had a chili spice to it with ginger and was topped with some soybeans and scallions. The house wine was amazing as well.
