Fantastic food and quality of alcohol options - Edit
We bought the Thai pizza and Nachos, the Nachos were my favorite and my wife favored the Thai Pizza. I got the Scottish ale and the Dallas Alice blonde ale. Both were great but the Dallas was better. Beers range from $5 and up.
Read morePros: Plenty of alcohol options like ciders and kombucha, The Nachos are epic, It's vegan yo

Thai pizza was amazing! - Edit
I loved visiting this restaurant while in Salt Lake City for a night. I shared the stuffed mushrooms, avocado salad, and thai pizza with a friend (who is not vegan). Everything was fantastic but the thai pizza was both of our favorite. We also got great drinks! I loved my jalapeño margarita. I’ll definitely return if I’m in SLC again!

Great spot in SLC - Edit
This place is amazing!!!! My husband and I tried the nachos which not only are huge, but leave you craving them hours later. We also devoured the jalapeno poppers, smothered burrito, and carrot ginger soup. Yes, we left stuffed but it was well worth it. Highly recommend this vegan spot.

A decent spot - Edit
It was a fine experience. Every employee was super nice (although at one point we had two servers who didn't know the other was serving us). The food we had was good, the drinks were okay. I think the description on here made me think this would be a super cool spot but it was more like a step up from a juice bar.

Good vibes, OK food - Edit
The space is cool and welcoming and staff are very nice. While I was eating inside, a wasp landed on my food (eek!) and the server took care of it quickly and professionally.
Read moreThe red tea and broccoli cheddar soup were good, but the barbecue chicken pizza crust was bland and dry. It reminded me of a frozen pizza. I ended up switching to the Zesty Nachos and they were a lot better-- flavorful, spicy, and filling.
Overall, not bad but not amazing, either.
Pros: Friendly staff, Cool space, Yummy nachos
Cons: Some dishes are bland

This place rules. Just expensive, special occasion only. Breakfast pizza rules, salads are delicious, tacos were small... nachos are delicious and the hazelnut chocolate dessert was amazing.

Breakfast pizza, yay!! - Edit
Pizzas and salads were amazing! Grilled cheese bread a bit thick, but cheese was fantastic, as was the soup. Wish we had time to stay for a drink, they looked incredible!

The staff is really nice and very welcoming. We came in a bit late but they still helped us out.
Read moreThe food was good but wasn't anything extravagant, and the portion sizes were a little on the lesser size. Also hard to find parking in this part of Salt lake at busy times of day so you may have to walk a bit.
Pros: Great helpful staff, Cool atmosphere
Cons: Hard to find parking, Smaller portions

Nachos and a smoothie - Edit
They advertised "the best nachos I'll ever have", probably close to the truth :p Smothered in creamy sauce, just how I like it, with a lovely hint of lime. Cool selection of cocktails and two smoothies too. Chill music. Great place to hang out. Not much space but there's both outdoor and indoor seating. Desserts are really pricey though so I skipped that!
Read moreSecond time I went I had a grilled cheese sandwich and didn't like it as much - got that highly processed vegan cheese taste :/

Everything was Great! - Edit
We had the jalapeño poppers, the crispy polenta skillet with marinara and vegetables, and the Thai sunrise with coconut yellow curry and mixed vegetables. All were so good. The poppers had a great filling and a nice sweet taste with the fruit sauce drizzle. The polenta was soft and the marinara was very flavorful. And the yellow curry was awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try more

Good food - Edit
It was a little scary going into a place that has indoor dining during COVID, but we ordered takeout and the food was very good - was a bit of a wait even though they weren't super busy.
Read moreLimited menu but still a solid variety of options. I had the bbq jackfruit pizza and while it was good, the cheezy sauce was kind of overpowering - my friend had the potato dish and enjoyed it.
I'd go back after COVID to maybe enjoy the place a bit more - couldn't enjoy the atmosphere or the full bar as I normally would.
Pros: All vegan, Nice space
Cons: Small menu, Somewhat expensive

Zest is THE Best - Edit
zest is the BEST. The food, the atmosphere, drinks, desserts and the cocktails are top notch. This is one of the gems of SLC. I can often find the owner walking around our farmers market looking for the freshest ingredients. Not to mention their commitment to the community with coat drives, discounts of brining your reusable container, and matching donations to local charities. This place hits all the right notes and makes me warm and fuzzy whenever i go there, though that might be the cocktails too. Be sure to go for brunch AND dinner. I'm still deciding what I like best. The brunch is stellar and one of my favorites. green juice mimosas!!! The jalapeno poppers and tiramisus are one of my favorite appetizers and desserts in this city. I get them almost every time. Okay, writing this just made me hungry time to go to zest! see you there!

Everything was delicious! - Edit
There were so many interesting items on the menu but ultimately I decided to try a few smaller dishes. I had the:
Read more*brussels sprouts: w/ slivered almonds, spicy masala almond sauce
*cuban taco orange marinated jackfruit, mushrooms, rice, pico de gallo, fruit compote, guacamole & cilantro
* cup of black bean chili (soup of the day)
The Brussels sprouts were amazing. The taco was delicious, and the chili warming and hearty for a cold SLC evening. I was accidentally brought the tomato’s and butternut squash soup... snuck a taste... kinda liked it even more than the chili.
Delicious.
Pros: 100% vegan, Lots of choices, Delicious
Cons: Street paid parking

A-may-zing vegan food - Edit
Brussel sprout appetizer was the best, but all four things we ordered were delicious. The person who said portions were small and prices high may not have compared them to other restaurants in SLC and even grocery store prices. The $ is $$ here in general (from northeast US comparison). That said, come here and order the Brussels and a bunch of other things!
