Delicious food - crazy crowds - Edit
Get here early - the lines get long pretty quickly. Excellent vegan options - my favorites are the yellow curry with potatoes and the green papaya salad (hold the shrimp/fish sauce).

Yummy food and unique experience - Edit
This is, in my opinion, a must-do activity for anyone visiting Berkeley or living here. The temple organizes this brunch every Sunday to support the living costs of their monks. There are lines you stand in for the various food items. I recommend getting there earlier rather than later, as the food is fresher and less likely to have run out if you get there early. I usually exchange $20 into coins which is plenty— you can exchange extra coins back into cash at the end, or donate them, or purchase various items like Thai handicrafts or spices with your extra coins. They have a line for vegetarian/vegan foods and one for meat and they give huge portions! Also the little coconut pancake thingies and the mango with sticky rice are nice desserts.

Cons: Long lines (veggie lines shorter than meat tho!), Hard to park— recommend walking/ public transport
