Bring Cash to Adeline Location - Edit
Best vegan donut in the Bay Area! I was introduced to Pepple's via their cake donuts at cafes like Philz, which are outstanding, but their raised donuts are what really take the cake! The texture is spot on and my non-veg husband didn't put together that they were vegan until he saw me eat one! (They also do not skimp on the filling in the jelly donut, mine was bleeding raspberry jam as I ate it, LOL. Get a napkin!)
Read moreThe new Adeline location is small and geared towards pickup only (no seating, so I guess no more brunch). Bring cash with you as a backup, as when I was there their internet was down (even hotspotting wasn't working) and the kind lady behind the counter mentioned that this has been a recurring issue with this new space, so don't show up with only plastic in your wallet!
Right now, the location is easy to miss as there's still paper up in some of the windows etc. but I am looking forward to returning for more phenomenal donuts! I hope they start offering their raised donuts all the time instead of just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

Beautiful and simple cake donuts in many flavors! The best donuts anywhere; AND they are vegan! I highly recommend!! We bought 6 and planned to take them home and they didn’t make it out of the shop, but that’s just us! #Veganuary

Read moreWe tried the chicken and waffles. The vegan chicken seems to be store bought but their breading was unique and super tasty.
The donuts are amazing as well, as others already said. I will come again to try the other dishes

Donuts are fantastic as advertised. Breakfast burrito and Crunchwrap were huge disappointments: unseasoned potatoes, undercooked onions, hard, dry beans, and 1990s style “chicken”. But! Donuts!

The lavender earl grey donut is the best donut I've ever had. The donuts here are pretty sweet, but the flavors are so good! Pumpkin donut was also great.

Read moreWoman working at Donut Farm was on her third day and was really friendly and helpful. She recommended the chocolate ones as her favorites, and once you try them you understand why. All of the donuts were delicious, they are cake style donuts so on the more dense side, and each bite flavorful. Make sure you order enough for yourself and others.

Top Tier Donuts - Edit
Vegan donuts are hard to come by in the area I live in the Bay (925, whuddup). So I have to resort to dryer-than-the-Sahara-need-2-bottles-of-Alkaline-water-to-wash-it-down Whole Food donuts. Lol So it's a revelation to me finding a top tier donut joint in "Narf" Oakland (The Ice) WORTH the travel. Went with their chocolate glaze, raspberry filling, and apple fritter. 💣!! Everything about it from texture, taste, etc replicates a donut unlike Whole Foods. Lol 5 stars and continued visits.

Donuts Should Always Be Your First Choice - Edit
Second time being here, super friendly! I went around noon? No one but personnel- so I was able to grab our donuts and a kombucha and jam out! Highly recommend the half dozen (at a minimum)! Dude, that Boston Creeeeam is delightful! So worth the wait (of picking up donuts and then enjoying them at home). There’s a cute bench outside too.

We got a dozen donuts from here and they were all amazing! The raspberry filled was one of the best I’ve ever had. The cake was perfect and not the sickly sweet artificial taste that you can sometimes get. The cake donuts were also great and moist! Love that they’re organic and local!

Flippin Fantastic Donuts - Edit
Went in mid July 2020 so social distancing and masks were in order. Only had to wait for 2 customers before it was my turn on a Thursday morning around 9 am. Took a meyers lemon, Mexican chocolate and cinnamon/sugar to go. There were many other flavors which I will have to get to on a return visit. But the ones i tried today were simply perfect. Nice glaze, crispy outside, soft inside and very flavorful.
