Lovely little breakfast spot before a long walk! - Edit
On the particular morning in which I found myself here, it was not my original intention. I had hoped that the place up the road would be open, but since it was only 8am, and a sunday, most places were closed. But not this one.
Read moreI happily walked in, driven by the glorious sunshine across the landscape, and the restaurant's open plan layout gave way perfectly to the rolling hills. The man there was overjoyed to see me (I was the only customer). He explained the menu well for me and had good english to describe ingredients. I opted for the fruit plate, Bali coffee, and the dadar gulung. I'd tried previously to get an understanding of the ingredients for a dadar gulung at other places but the language barrier had prohibited a conclusion.) I can confirm that the ingredients are as follows: flour, pandan leaves and bbbbzzzzzzzz in a blender. Cook the little green 'cakes' and fill with coconut and palm sugar. Devour with delight!
Did I mention the view? Spectacular!
Pros: Really helpful staff member, Damn good dadar gulung!
