Had a green juice and a kebab dish, very tasty. Had some leftover because it was a bit much with the cheese and sauce, but they were happy to pack up the leftovers for me & gave the tip to heat it up in a tortilla at home. Good atmosphere and nice staff.

Ik ben inmiddels al een keer of 10 bij wakuwaku gaan eten, ook met vrienden en familie die niet vegan zijn maar zich lieten verrassen. Altijd vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten. Alles is 100% vegan dus lekker makkelijk. Zeker een aanrader!

We started with the sharing bites, then took the eggplant and the caramelised onions and ended up with the Tiramisu. Everithing was great. We loved every bite. Thanks for a very nice evening. When again in the town, we will be back.

Ik kwam hier enkele jaren geleden toen ik voor het werk in Utrecht was. Ik vond het heel gezellig. Er waren geen tafeltjes meer vrij, maar mocht aan de bar eten, wat uiteindelijk een top-avond werd, want ik was alleen en nu had ik enkele heel leuke conversaties met de vrouw achter de bar, een andere klant en personeel wiens shift er op zat. Algemene voertaal is Engels, international karakter, heel lekker gegeten, super-vriendelijk, open en sociaal personeel. Alles plant-based.

I want to start with the fact that I am so happy that this is a vegan restaurant in the centre of Utrecht. The food was good, but not very special in my opinion.
Read moreI just like it more when vegan food is food that is naturally vegan instead of trying to replicate a shrimp, meat burger or cheese.(although the cheese they get from Mr. & Mrs. Watson in Amsterdam is great!). When I tasted my sisters ‘WAKU WAKU’ burger I immediately knew it was a beyond burger.
The restaurant has a very nice interior and the plates are instagram worthy.
For the price this restaurant sadly didnt impress me, but I am happy it is doing well.
I don’t know if the restaurant deserves 3 or 4 stars. I wonder if the restaurant is created for vegans or for people that eat meat and want to try eating vegan food once. I think the second.
The desserts are the best part, don’t skip them.

Fully vegan cuisine with creative dishes. Not always the most healthy stuff, but their aim is to make vegan food as delicious as possible (plus, you could do a lot worse health wise). Staff is nice and enthusiastic.

Read moreRegarding the price. We are on a mission. The mission is to inspire quests to redefine the way they look at food and with this, mainstream veganism. And although our prices are actually under average compared to other (good) city centre restaurants, it is not our goal to be the cheapest. High quality plant-based dishes take a lot of hard work and carefully selected (often organic) ingredients. Add to this a high-end location and interior and the result is a wonderful experience altogether!
We truly believe that our offer is fair, and we obviously can only hope that our guests recognize the whole package and appreciate what is being done. 🙏🙂

The food overall was good but too expensive.

A great restaurant with amazing atmosphere. The blue satin booths are really cozy and the dishes on the card are nicely picked. I strongly recommend the artichoke, I never tried it like this and it was really tasty and a real new experience. Also the vegan bitterballen were spot on!
