Read moreI liked the food and the virgin margarita but I’ve found it a little overpriced. Despite this, I would come again because they have vegan options (including the vegan platter for 2 people) and the amount of food was more than enough for 2!
For my personal taste, I would have added a pinch of salt

It was okay, but the fake salmon dish was very horrible. It taste very bad. The quesadillas are the best, there are no vegan tacos.

We had the mixed platter for 2 in vegan option, and it was really delicious. Best food we had in Utrecht, and prices are very fair too. My favorite were the pumpkin coconut thingies, really a new taste. They did not hold back with the jalapeños though, so if you can't handle the hotness, better let them know before ordering.
Read moreService was also fast and friendly. We reserved online and it was really packed, so I would recommend that. Cocktails were great too, and fun neon lights in the bathrooms. :)

Great vibes, amazing vegan food - Edit
I went to Lucy Lou, a beautiful and cozy restaurant which has a great vibe and told the staff that I eat vegan. The girl was immediately enthusiastic and told me she always liked it if people eat vegetarian or vegan. She recommended me a vegan sharing platter which was super nice! The food was great, cocktails were tasty and the restaurant is super chilled.

In principe vond ik het een prima eettentje met een leuke sfeer binnen. Ik vond het eten alleen een beetje tegenvallen. De porties van de taco’s vond ik wat karig en de “enige” vegan optie (er waren nog andere vega opties) die op de kaart stond “hadden ze niet” (jackfruit). Uiteindelijk hebben ze een van de andere vega opties vegan gemaakt. Ik had ook nacho’s besteld met salsa, maar ik kreeg in eerste instantie guacamole. Ik vond het eten zelf prima van smaak, maar niet bijzonder. Mijn man vond zijn vleestaco niet echt lekker.

Fun bar and restaurant. Nice staff, they were totally fine with doing the 'mixed platter for two' half meat (for my boyfriend) and half vegetarian for me, and it was delicious!

What do you do when another restaurant (Snckbr IV) is completely full; you go to the nearest mentioned restaurant on happy cow! We ordered the only vegan option for 4 persons but they served it for two persons because the waitress though for herself that if we want more we can order more and if they serve two of each we can break it in alf so we could all taste it :-/

Great vegan tostadas! - Edit
There are about two vegetarian and one vegan options of tostadas and tacos in the menu. The vegetarian option can be easily made vegan (just need to ask without the yogurt dressing or cheese). I ordered the grilled veggies tostadas (with guacamole replacing the feta cheese) and I really liked how crunchy and fresh (not greasy at all) they tasted. As a side, I also ordered the grilled corn on the cob that is usually served with butter and salt. Even though I specifically ordered it with no butter, it sill came with it… However, all I had to do was to politely send it back and they brought me a new one without it. The staff was friendly but a little bit slow, which is understandable given that was a rather busy Friday nigh. If you are looking for some good Mexican food in a restaurant with a great atmosphere and that is conveniently located in the city centre (3-minutes walk from Hoog Catherine mall/central station), then this is the place!😄
