Full vegetarian menu with clear vegan and gluten free labeling, which includes pizzas and pastas! We went about an hour before they closed and they had sold out of the vegan lasagna and Manicotti which were my first picks, ended up having a delicious 5terre pizza. My celiac mom loved the gluten free pizza crust. My Omni dad enjoyed his spaghetti puttanesca!

Read moreI plan to return again on my 1 week in Puerta Vallarta! Small restaurant and it was busy so prepare to wait for a table or expect a 2 hour dinner. Worth the wait! You can make reservations through WhatsApp but in Spanish.
Most of the dishes, we already ate half of what was on the plate so keep in mind. It was fuller plates, especially the salad. All that I show is the dressing and a little bit of lettuce.

Pros: Pasta- loved the pesto pasta , Eggplant dish was beyond amazing , Loved the mustard dressing for the salad and bread
Cons: Didn’t have really to go containers, Language barrier with the female waitress , Small portions each dish around $10 us

Great Salad and pizza - Edit
First off, the interior is lovely at night very intimate and calm. We started with some wine, I got the malbec, and got the cheese board to start. To clarify, I am vegan and all the things I ordered were the VEGAN versions of the items they have on their menu. I wasn't a huge fan since it was just cheese, nuts and fruit we should have asked for more bread. Vegan cheese on its own can be a bit much sometimes. Then we split the pear and nut salad which i LOVEEEEED, it was delicious. We also split the 5terre and Jean Pierre which were pretty good, the vegan cheese melted surprisingly well. I think the 5terre was the better option out of the pizza. Overall it was a good experience, if a bit expensive.

The place is incredible, you feel comfortable, the service is very nice, (sometimes you have to wait in line) over all the food is good, it is classic and vegetarian but it is not breath taking.

Read moreMarco, the owner, got us some delicious ginger water and a lovely bread plate. Mila, his daughter, brought us a mushroom appetizer and a veggie carpaccio. Both equally great and enough for a light lunch for two.
We’re going back for a full dinner soon.
Vegetarian, but with plenty of vegan options too.

I can’t believe there isn’t a line stretching around the block to get a seat at Veggitalia Pizza & Osteria Vegetariana. The food is absolutely fantastic! The manicotti is so tender and cheesy and melted in my mouth. The Spaghetti Puttanesca was full of flavor. I didn’t expect to enjoy the pear salad as much as I did.

Marco and staff are absolute rock stars delivering the most authentic plant based Italian food in the world. He makes many vegan cheeses and the pear salad is a must have every visit. Other favorites include the regina pizza, and the spaghetti putanesca. Everything on the menu is a safe bet!

recommended by a friend who lived here recently. everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The vegan cheese on the pizza is one of the better ones we’ve had. My husband, a vegan baker professionally found the tiramisu to be the best he’s ever had. Friendly service, cozy environment. Lots of wine and beer options. Glad we enjoyed our last trip dinner here!

The pizza here is interstellar: with sophisticated flavor palettes that are at once rich, innovative and satsifying, with vegan cheeses that are creamy and delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant also transports, feeling unique and calming in the bustle of PV. Another favorite is the lovely flavored water they offer during dinner--so refreshing!

Cozy little restaurant with lots of charm. Food was absolutely delicious, especially the Jean Pierre pizza and the eggplant parmesan tower (the official name of which I can’t remember). They also made a mini pizza for my toddler which was incredibly sweet. I wasn’t expecting to eat such yummy vegan pizza in Mexico but am so glad we made it a point to come here.

Will definitely return on our next visit!We had the vegan cheese board, amici pizza, lasagna and tiramisu. The flavors are clean and authentic. The service is phenomenal. Cinnamon water to start was a great touch. We didn’t have a chance to visit their shop but we will certainly will next time.
