Delicious, fresh Italian vegan/vegetarian food - Edit
I just ate lunch there and now see why they get top ratings. Everything is very fresh, very Italian and beautifully presented. I wish I had had my camera so I could show you pictures! First, a warm Italian bread drizzled with a good olive oil and the plate decorated with swirls of pesto and balsamic vinegar. Then my yummy penne primavera. Then, my waiter said the words that made my heart skip a beat: "We have a delicious chocolate vegan mousse for you." I was in heaven!
Read moreThe decor is attractive bistro style. The restaurant is easy to get to, less than a block off the main Juarez bus line...or, if you're on the malecon or visiting the Guadalupe Church, you can easily walk there. The prices seem a slight bit higher but in reality are no higher than the non-vegetarian Italian restaurants in town.
If you are vegan or vegetarian, Veggitalia is a must go. If you're not but love good Italian food, you will love it here too.
Pros: much vegan including dessert Italian owners, Easy to get to
Cons: none!

Loved the vegan antipasto! - Edit
This place was super delicious. The menu changes frequently based on the seasons and what the chef was interested in. I would guess most things could be made vegan. We requested the antipasto platter be made vegan and it came with a cheese made from coconut meat that was super good. The bolognese wasn’t also great. Definitely recommend. Cute little place.

Cute little Italian cafe in Malecon - Edit
I think this restaurant is completely vegetarian. I didn't see any meat on the menu boards, so may the status should be changed. I just had a soy latte and a vegan mousse. They also serve almond and coconut milk. the mousse was really just chocolate pudding. but it was good. I liked the place, and the staff was very kind. They served ginger water too, which may even have been the best part because it was a delightful surprise!

My friend and I visited this place twice during our stay. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to go. Absolutely delicious. The portions have just the right size and nearly every dish can be made vegan. The Tiramisu is a must try.

What a pot of luck to find this place in PV. This restaurant is a real gem. The place is cosy and very well looked after by the visionary owner/chef Marco which created this restaurant to make a statement and he sure did. He only use the freshest ingredients daily sourced and mange to create Italian dishes true to their ruth but with a real classy twist. Highly recommended, a must when in Puerto Vallarta!

Chef Marco never disappoints! - Edit
I’ve eaten here numerous times and Marco has never disappointed. It’s a small restaurant so you’ll get that true “personal attention”. He knows I’m vegan so I ask him to prepare whatever he feels like making. When the dish arrives it’s so beautiful you don’t even want to touch it. Of course that doesn’t last too long, then the flavors completely take over. I highly recommend coming here when you’re in PV.

Delicious Italian vegetarian food - Edit
I was impressed by the taste of food in this lovely restaurant. We've ordered pizza, lasagna and tiramisu. One of the best lasagna I ever tried, so tender! Pleasant atmosphere. Not cheap, but it worth it. Menu is small, but better to have some perfect things than a lot of mediocre ones.

Fantastic! - Edit
We ordered salads, pizzas, a pasta dish, and 2 desserts. All were excellent and vegan. It's most definitely Italian food, but apparently PV is known for great Italian. This is a casual place with a changing menu. Based on our experiences, their prices were higher than others with smaller portions, but I would still go back.

Conveniently centralized by the Centro - Edit
Really delicious Italian fare. They change their menus everyday and I decided to order some food to go. I ordered sautéed mushrooms and a side toast. It wasn’t as filling as I wanted for the price that I got. But they had a really cute place and their service was great! When I’ll come back I’ll try other options!

The best Italian food, anywhere and a vegetarian paradise - Edit
I've been a vegetarian for over twenty years and my husband is a carnivore who loves Italian food. Many of the Puerto Vallarta vegetarian restaurants leave something to be desired with food quality, creative menus, and timing. We stumbled upon Veggetalia and the staff, ambience, food, and taste totally won our hearts and stomachs.
Read moreIt was literally the best Italian food of our lives (we live in Little Italy in the US), it was light and everything was delicious and every ingredient was creatively transformed into beautiful artwork with the function of great tasting food. My husband did not miss the meat and we went back, twice during our time in Puerto Vallarta. The owner and chef, Marco has created an oasis for the healthy, vegetarian, or vegan traveler and Veggetalia fuses Marco's 30+ years of kitchen experience into a true treat for the heart, soul, and your stomach. The staff is sweet and kind (and I'm pretty sure they all play in a jazz band together) and the Pink Floyd soundtrack and amazing wine / espresso made the experience amazing. The pricing is also really lovely.
Tell everyone, this is THE SPOT for the best Italian food in Mexico. Your taste buds will thank you and any food conscious travelers will rejoice. Vegans and gluten free eaters will also eat very well!
Pros: Creative presentations, Healthy and fresh ingredients , Amazing ambiance
Cons: More vegetarians should support this amazing place

The chef and workers accommodate to whatever the needs of the customers are. The pizza was delicious. I spent three weeks in Puerto Vallarta and ate here twice a week and made it our last dining meal. Everything on the menu is delicious, especially the pear salad. Calming music, and great service.

Yum - Edit
Yum. The entire menu is vegetarian, and the chef and staff understand vegan. It’s small, but a polished environment with live music at times. Appetizers to share, pizza, pasta, and desserts; all Italian, no guacamole or tequila on the menu. Suitable for people who might complain about a vegetarian restaurant—I overheard an older Canadian man say it was his first meal without meat and I saw him leave smiling.

Better then Italy - Edit
Seriously one of the best pestos I’ve ever had. Would get a salad, pizza and a pasta for me and my wife and it was a ton of food but it was so good we had to try a bunch of stuff. Went twice on our vacation and was our favorite spot. Just went to Rome and venice 4 months ago and I preferred this spot to anything I had there. Very helpful in making anything you want vegan.

Had Marco cook us a Chef Choice Pizza and pasta. Pasta was the best of my life! Dessert was delicious chocolate mousse! A great meal, amazing flavor!! A bit of spicy kick with his infused oils!! Top rate! They make their own beer, too, which I missed on this trip, but will have to go back for!

What a treat! - Edit
We had the antipasto which was grilled veggies seasoned out of this world with just a tiny bit of heat. Then we had the special which was labeled “Inspiration de Chef”. When we asked him what it was, he said, “I don’t know. I talk to you then i go in the kitchen and get inspired.” So we both ordered the special and we both got something unique, delicious and special. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Best vegan pizza I've had - Edit
This place is the best. My boyfriend and I came in to order a vegan pizza to go and ended up having an espresso while waiting. The pizza and the espresso were amazing! We were greeted by the chef when we first walked in and served with mint water while waiting. The pizza was the best vegan pizza I have ever had. It was thin crust and I got mushrooms and arugula on top.. so good. Even my boyfriend (who is not vegan) said it was amazing! I highly recommend going here if you're in Puerto Vallarta!

Beautiful and delicious! - Edit
I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants in my time, but this one has to be one of my favourites. From the atmosphere as soon as you walk in, to the greeting at the door from the owner who is incredibly passionate about what he does. To of course the incredible food we had. You start with some vanilla mint water which is very refreshing, and then some bread with olive oil and the best pesto I've ever eaten. I had the penne with pesto which was incredible. Please eat here if you get the chance!

Fantastic - Edit
Everything sounds delicious and what we had definitely was. The owner is clearly very passionate about good food and it shows. We had pizza and the antipasto, which was oven roasted veggie skewers, paired with a beautiful glass of wine and craft beer. Wish we were staying longer so we could go again!
