Amazing stay with great couple - Edit
I spent 3 nights with Paul and Caryl and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the beginning I felt we were kindred spirits, sharing a love of travel, food and ... football!
Read moreVegan Villa is spotless and the breakfasts were very delicious. They helped me plan my stay by putting me in touch with Vuthy, a great tuk tuk driver and a wonderful person. All in all it was a memorable stay and I would definitely stay here again if visiting Siem Reap.

Vegan Villa - Edit
Have stayed at Vegan Villa twice now, & can honestly say I haven’t met a more welcoming & helpful couple than Paul & Caryl. From the time we arrived to when we left, we had help with all our requirements to make it a memorable trip. Vegan restaurants aplenty just a short tuk tuk or walk away. Angkor Wat & all its temples nearby make this a great place to stay. Breakfast at VV is to die for... with fresh coffee, juices, & freshly baked bread mean you won’t go hungry. Will be back for a 3rd visit no doubt

Vegan Oasis - Edit
Paul and Carol were unbelievable hosts. They were kind, compassionate, fun and welcoming. Not only did they tell us all about vegan food and things to do around Siem Reap, but they also made us feel totally comfortable in their own home. Their house was clean and had beyond everything we needed - from a delicious homemade breakfast of chickpea omelette and tofu scramble to a bed that was more comfortable than anything I’ve sat on in two months! We had such meaningful conversations which was the best bonus of all. Truly they made Siem Reap a memorable part of our trip! I highly recommend Vegan Villa to anyone looking for a cozy, centrally located, lovely spot in Siem Reap.

Vegan paradise in Siem Reap! - Edit
At Vegan Villa you will find vegan paradise in Siem Reap. Paul & Caryl are the best hosts ever & will provide tips on where to find the most delicious vegan food in town from a hip beer garden to casual lunch spot or funky bakery cafe. If you need help getting to & from the airport or a guide to take you to the temples, they'll sort it all out. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at Vegan Villa

Great hosts in Siem Reap - Edit
Paul made us a different vegan breakfast every morning, all were delicious! He even packed us one to-go for our sunrise tour at Angkor Wat. The room is clean with a good ac and you have a private bathroom. Paul booked us bicycles one day and also tickets to one of the in town shows. He and Caryl were lovely hosts, we are glad we met them. Vegan Villa is a labour of love!!

Magic Time - A Total Must for Vegans Visiting Cambodia - Edit
If you are a traveling vegan ( or even thinking about it being vegan ) then please add the Vegan Villa to your list of must do activities.
Read moreWe had such an enjoyable time hanging out with Paul and Caryl. You will be hard pressed to meet such a vibrant fascinating couple to talk food, travel, movies and tv series and of course veganism.
Dinner and breakfast were so damn good and I picked up several good cooking tips. The only thing wrong with the eggplant bacon was I could not get enough of it. Smokey and crunchy.
Meeting Caryl and Paul has definitely been a highlight of Siem Reap. Having the feel of a welcoming home, the villa is a chic little oasis from the hotel and hostel scene.
Pros: Great company, Fantastic fully vegan food, Fresh clean and comfortable
Cons: Little tricky following google maps to get there., Not enough eggplant bacon, See number 2

A must stay if you visit Siem Reap - Edit
The best air bnb I have ever stayed in!! The hosts are fantastic people that have done so much for the veggie/vegan community in terms of educating hotels and restaurants about the needs of veggie/vegans. The breakfast is the best vegan breakfast I have ever had. They were kind enough to make us breakfast to go when we visited the temples first thing in the morning and woke up to make us breakfast when we fly out early too! Can't thank Paul and Caryl enough for their hospitality and knowledge about Siem Reap (especially the vegan/veggie eateries and salons that use vegan products) and neighbouring countries!

Perfect landing pad in Siem Reap for vegans! - Edit
Just perfect! Vegan Food Quest (Paul and Caryl) host you in their clean, large house near to the centre of Siem Reap.
Read moreThey offer awesome vegan breakfasts (fruit salad, smoothies and tofu scramble on sourdough - to die for!). My family and I stayed in Siem Reap for a month so Paul and Caryl gave us all the details of where to go and eat.
Siem Reap is a gem of a place for vegans and we ate our way around it in delirious bliss. Burgers, pulled jackfruit burritos, cheesecake, chocolate gelato, mushroom skewers (which are the most meat-like thing I have ever eaten!), vegan sausages and mash, I could go on and on! There are some great local food places too that have pumpkin curry and deep fried eggplant, etc.
If you are vegan and heading to Cambodia - don't even think about staying anywhere else!

Amazing :) - Edit
After Paul offered me some advice through a vegan travel page online he linked me to Vegan Villa. Strangely, about a month later I met a quirky, smiley lil lady in a vegan cafe in Sihanoukville who overheard me raving about food and talking about Siem Reap. This then turned out to be Caryl- the loooovely other half of Paul! So long story short we chatted and ate and ate some more before exchanging contacts. This then led to me staying with them a couple of weeks later in the wonderful Siem Reap.
Read moreHonestly, I could not have asked for two nicer people to host me. Caryl and Paul are two of the loveliest people I met on my travels and were incredibly compassionate and fun to be around. As a vegan/big big foodie (!) myself it was fab to be shown a city with an emphasis on the local food on offer. We went to markets and I ate amazing rice banana leaf things that I miss daily (have found them in london but for 4 POUNDS WHAT?!?!). They introduced me to their lovely neighbours Resmey (apologies for the spelling!) and the adorable Melody. We also went out for dinner one night at chamkar (i think!) And had the delicious wedding day dip aaaah. Also Caryl and Paul are top notch cooks and myself and a pal had dinner cooked by them which was so delicious.
Onto the actual important stuff... the house is super duper lovely and a super comfy DOUBLE BED which is rare to find whilst travelling. Caryl prepared me brekkie every morning and introduced me to the wonder that is overnight oats! She even made me a lil packed lunch when I went to Angkor Wat which was super kind of her. The location is really good and easy to get to the main town by tuk tuk :)
Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience (no, they are not paying me to say this ha!) and would definitely recommend it- vegan, vegetarian, omni, unicorn- you won't find hosts more caring and fun to be around !
Love love [censored]
Pros: FOOD! (amazing chefs), Comfy double bed , Location and not too loud
Cons: I had to leave! :(

Delicious food and fantastic company! - Edit
My sister and I stayed with Caryl and Paul for a couple of nights earlier this year - and we are so glad we did! They are friendly, gracious and fun-loving hosts that know how to make absolutely delicious vegan food! The scrambled tofu and over-night oats for breakfast were especially tasty. If you're lucky Caryl will make some of her peanut butter, cacao oat slice (one of the yummiest vegan treats we have had on our trip so far!). Will definitely have to come back again :)

Generous, wonderful & heartwarming experience - Edit
Vegan Villa was an incredible part of our South East Asian trip providing us not only with delicious home cooked meals and treats (heaven for backpackers that had been on the road for 2+months) but with superb, passionate, open, friendly, like-minded company, and welcoming us into their home with so much love and kindness. Their comprehensive and thoughtful travel tips and the all important vegan hot spots for fantastic food in the area were invaluable and didn't disappoint. Caryl and Paul are the most lovely people and I'm so grateful we were able to experience the oasis Vegan Villa is.
