Fantastic place! - Edit
They have a wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan options. We enjoyed the food so much and highly recommend coming here. The location is very cozy and quiet, perfect for a relaxed breakfast. And on top you support an educational school project.

Ok, for a good cause I guess - Edit
I had the multi course brunch there was one vegan option in each section, I asked for a vegan brunch. Didn't understand the word vegan. Desert had a meringue on the top, that I gave them the benifit of the doubt that it was made vegan . They had no quiche, which I have now read from another user has butter in it. There is not really anything guaranteed vegan on the menu other than modified panini, or a small fruit bowl. Maybe the desert I had was vegan, but I really have no idea. After I asked for vegan, the staff asked me if I wanted ham and cheese. So not even sure if they know. Baked goods were nice, panini was tasty, but very lacking in ingredients, mainly bread, with a slither if veges.

Cute little garden café! - Edit
The café is located in a cute little garden which is a bit further away from the street (thus very quiet). We enjoyed their coffee with almond milk and their selfmade cake/cookies.

Good food and a nice place to sit - Edit
BEWARE: The ‘Vegan’ icons on the menu are incorrect. I was going to order the pumpkin and feta quiche, labelled in the menu as vegan, but I asked the server just to be sure. She told me that it’s labelled in error and is made with butter.
Read moreWhat I did order, was the Mediterranean panini, not labelled as vegan but can be made so, and the smoothie bowl, made with oat milk, also not labelled as vegan, but that actually is.
With that confusion out of the way, the food here is really good, and it’s a very nice place to sit. It’s a garden cafe down a little side street, so it’s away from any vehicles, and is quite serene.
The staff are very friendly, speak good English and understand what vegan means, so ask about everything in the menu, because the labels in it are wrong.
I don’t know how that happened or why they don’t fix it, but that’s the way it is.
UPDATE: Came back here again and didn’t enjoy it. Although it’s an open air cafe, the tables are very close together. When another customer lit a cigarette while others around him were eating, not only did the staff not tell him to stop, but they gave him an ashtray. Absolutely absurd. I have an unhealthy hatred of smoking (and people that smoke), so this completely ruined my meal. I won’t be back again.

Good food, amazing cause - Edit
This is a non-profit cafe/pastry school which teaches hospitality and pastry skills to underprivileged young women. When you buy from the cafe, you are supporting an amazing organisation - try not to forget that it is first and foremost an education facility, with the cafe open to the public.
Read moreThe food and friendly service was a professional standard, with a selection of French-style pastries, cakes and breakfast/lunch items. There are a few vegan options, plus more for vegetarians.
I recommend trying the Banana Caramel Cupcake and an almond iced coffee!
Pros: A chance to contribute to a great organisation , Amazing, professionally-made pastry selection , Lovely service
Cons: More vegan options would be good, Portions are on the small side

Doesn’t appear to be open Sundays contrary to what this said - Edit
Turned up at 15:30 hours today (Sunday) and the place was like a ghost town. Said it was open until 17:30. Not happy with my wasted trip! Please update your hours. Palm cafe for me now with a cheeky cake stop in Bang Bang after. Their loss

Disappointed - Edit
I went to Bayon, excited to try their Brunch given that previous reviews were good. However, when I got there, a cooking class was starting and all attention was set on that group. I sat and waited 20mins before someone came to take my order. Then, all vegan options were unavailable and most drinks. I left and don’t think I will return.

The nicest little cafe/ bakery - Edit
I went for a late lunch and was very impressed with the vegan options. The girls working were so lovely and told me all about how the organisation works- education, training, work experience, jobs. Just make sure youre clear it's vegan not gluten free (that they aren't confused as the same thing)

I’m always happy to support the good cause restaurants and cafes and there are a lot here it seems in Siem Reap.
Read moreThis place was a delight
The lunch off for $7 was amazing
2 drinks, 3 food choices and a fruit salad bowl
Rather handily there were three vegan food options so no tough decision to make
Vegan quiche, Mediterranean panini and banana muffin
All were delicious, I was really impressed by the quiche
The service was lovely too, the lady was very apologetic for the wait but I really didn’t think it was a wait at all and even if it was it is a nice relaxed setting and I was sat in the garden so happy
Pros: Super value offer, Decent vegan options

Delicious bakery - Edit
Has a large range to choose from and lots of deals, really good for Vegos, and accomodating for vegans. I had the chocolate cake, and would highly recommend to get a scoop of icecream with it as it was alittle dry. My partners lime meringue pie though was delicious. Atmosphere is relaxed as it is away from the main road and a very great place to relax with a coffee or tea and chat over some cakes.

Recommended! Great breakfast and lunch - Edit
Tasty and royal brunch with option for vegan cappucino or latte (or other coffees), vegan smoothie option too. The jam was delightfull, the fruitsalad was fresh and so good. The bread was also very tasty. Only the butter is not vegan but you can ignore it. Staff is nice and place is in a cozy garden next to the bakery where u can watch the girls bake. Very recommended!

Bakery and Cafe with vegan options - Edit
The menu at this training restaurant has clearly marked vegan options including vegan quiche. They have a selection of vegan cakes for those of you with a sweet tooth! Everything was fresh and tasty that we selected and we enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. Well worth checking out if you’re in Siem Reap.
