Freshy made food that is topped up often. I ordered option 2 (1 main, 2 side, 1 veg), and got fried rice, tofu mock meat and vegetables. The food was tasty and not too heavy. They have enough choices to keep it interesting and portions are very good for money.

Tiny little place. Room for 2 to sit at window. Takeaway and eat it in the neighboring Freyburg Square. Lovely service. Menu often changes.

I was only in Auckland for the afternoon, but stopped with enough time to grab some lunch. Really generous portions here, and the food tastes great! For those that like your mock meats, they’re here. For those that like their veggies, they’re here as well. Including spring rolls and an amazing deep fried steamed bun, okay maybe not all of it was healthy! The woman who runs it is lovely and it’s great to support a smaller independent business😄

Generous servings, even the small size, which costs $10. I chose black rice, curry and green beans. Very satisfying and tasty meal. If I worked in the CBD, I would be a regular.

Read moreIt was the best meal I had while in Auckland. I had the combo four which let’s you try pretty much all the hot options. Their mock duck was incredible and their tofu drumsticks were amazing. The portion size is big for a very reasonable size. There is no real seating inside, however there are plenty of public seating areas nearby, definitely check this place out for Lunch when you are in Auckland, they are open 11-4 during weekdays.

i am buddhist vegan so i dont eat any garlic or onion, yet this is quit rare to sre in auckland. It is really lucky to find a conplete vegan place that also doesnt have any garlic or onion! The best thing is, th food wa so great,the portion was so generous, and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Please help them woth their business, i was there at around 11:40 where other cafe are already quite busy, but this store does not have any customers yet, I guess it may be because of the chinese name and the location of it being quite hidden. The food was really good, this is my favourite in auckland city, rice, curries, vegetables... comfortable and safe , and the cheapest u can get in city. my box only cost me 9.99, it has red rice with coconut cream, mixed vegetables, curry.
Pros: the cheapest u can get in city., the yummiest asian vegan food, no garlic or onion, suitable for buddhist vegans
Cons: limited seatings, best to takeaway.

The first thing we noticed when we came was how good it smelled and how clean this tiny place was. The food wasn't ready (they hadn't opened yet), but the smell convinced us to stay and wait :)

We love good Asian food that makes you feel full of energy but light at the same time.
Great for takeaways (the place is tiny), but we managed to sit down right there and eat as there was nobody else.
There are vegan posters on the walls in English and Chinese. So good to be in a place that GETS IT.
Will return, for sure!

We are visiting Auckland and came here due to great reviews on this app. It definitely lived up to the reviews. The food had so much flavour. There was plenty of options available at an affordable lunch price. The lady who owned it was so friendly and I felt happy being able to buy our lunch there and support her business.

Try the steamed buns and spring rolls too. They're so good!
All reasonably priced. You won't regret it. Give it a go.

I was travelling for work and looking for some fast vegan lunch noms and found this place. Well, it was hard to find as some other signs were blocking it, but once I did deliciousness ensued. I love all things sezchuan, and the sezchuan with mock beef was a treat! At these prices, try everything. The owner, ivy, is an absolute treasure.
