Nice cozy spot with options! - Edit
We enjoyed coffee, smoothie, plus the Vegan Shakshuka (so flavorful!) and Harvest Toastie, with great tomatoes, chickpeas and radishes. Well labeled menu and appeared to have some good takeaway options.

Great place for lunch or brunch - Edit
There are a few vegan options here - I had the vegan shakshuka and it was very good. I would like to have tried something sweet but was too full... Place has a nice atmosphere - groceries and gifts are also on sale and it is close to the Art Gallery.

Delicious breakfast - Edit
I’ve only tried the shakshuka (currently $15) and coffee here, but it’s really nice. It’s changed over the years, from tempeh to mushroom and now chickpeas - all versions delicious

Delicious vegan sandwich option - Edit
I bought a sandwich from the counter. Mainly eggplant and pumpkin, with a delicious and satisfying tangy salad. High quality, healthy ingredients, in a creative combination. Bread was very nice. An excellent option to grab and go in the city.

Would go back, good vibe - Edit
Great spot to have a brunch, coffee with a sweet treat. Had their big vegan breakfast and it was a good one (ask for some hummus on the side it hits the spot) also tried their chocolate hazelnut vegan bagel. They have good options for pantry items as well as eco friendly brushes, floss, cutlery and etc.

Stylish - Edit
It has a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly. A couple of vegan options for the savoury dishes as well as a couple of cakes. Enjoyed a bagel with tomato and avocado, it was really flavourful. The vegan peanut cake wasn’t great. But it is very busy and very expensive for what it is.

Nice place for brunch - Edit
The only reason we went to this place was because it happened to be steps from where we were staying, but it turned out to be pretty good with lots of vegan options. We had the veganized stone fruits dish (delicious) and the avocado bagel plate (fine but not very interesting). Also had a great cappuccino with almond milk and a blueberry juice. Friendly staff and nice decor.

fruity smoothie - Edit
The smoothie was good and I liked they labeled vegan options. Staff over charged us then was a pain to get it fixed. Food is not amazing. The fruity smoothie was good, but smoothies just as good around the corner at tank for less money.

Nice hidden vegan-friendly place - Edit
Completely central but not obvious.
Read moreI like the decor, wooden, old furniture elements, nice old stylish building.
I went there twice for brunch, and had the same thing because it was really good: vegan tchatchouka (?), spicy tomato stew with potatoes, tempeh, and nice toasted sourdough bread. Yum.
Each time there was quite a lot of vegan options in the cabinet and some beautiful-looking vegan artisan chocolates!
Pros: A lot of great vegan options, Nice place, Organic & artisan produce to buy
Cons: A bit crammed

Well-catered for vegans - Edit
This is quite a popular spot amongst vegans and non-vegans in Auckland CBD. Good venue for a business lunch. Lovely raw and cooked vegan food, chocolates and other goodies on offer. There is also a shop area offering a nice selection of vegan-friendly products. Great vibe, cheerful staff, always busy.

Friendly staff - Edit
A cozy restaurant located just across from Albert Park, Scarecrow offers a handful of options for vegans. Fun fact: their current menu erroneously notes the egg shakshuka as being vegan.) The House Hummus dish is tasty and just enough for two, while the Chickpea Chile Verde combines chickpeas with a delightful spoonful of cashew cream.

Great food. friendly staff. heaps of options - Edit
This isn't your normal cafe with a couple of Vegan options. Depending on which time of day you go you get a bunch of vegan options, well labeled on the menu. The cabinet is filled with vegan chocolates, salad, and other treats. Pricing was fair, the place has really good vibes. Would eat again.

Our go-to for vegan lunch in Auckland CBD - Edit
I think our vegan family of three must have had lunch here at least four times in the last half year when we are visiting Auckland.

Great Salads - Edit
I found this great wee place using the Happy Cow app, whilst doing a self - guided tour of Auckland from my Lonely Planet guidebook. It's situated on a street corner, in a beautiful old building with huge windows.
Read moreThis isn't a vegetarian or vegan place but there are lots of veggie dishes to choose from. There is a selection of $10 salads, which are on display in the chiller cabinet. I chose one labelled as a cous cous salad although I'm pretty sure the grain was actually quinoa. It also contained various salad leaves, capers, herbs and even some flower petals. I think there was some dandelion in there. Anyway, I thought it was delicious - peppery and flavoursome. Tap water was brought unprompted. I also had a bottle of organic apple and blueberry juice so the final bill came to $15.
One final thing that really deserves a mention - the restroom was really, really nice! It was beautifully decorated, really clean and the soap smelt amazing!
Pros: Lots of veggie options; lovely loo; nice atmospher

Great little place for a meal. Nice atmosphere with vegan options. Check website for hours. I think the hours listed here are wrong.
