Nice spot up on the walls - Edit
Vegan Deva opened again this weekend after the covid thing. We’d booked a table. At the time of writing, offering a limited start back menu, 3 different paninis and a Buddha bowl. Cakes were on offer too.

Vegan on The Walls - Edit
Cool location on The Walls. Friendly service. Had a nice chilli with sourdough bread and a little vegan cheese. Seriously vegan place (as in not accepting cash due to the tallow in the notes). Great to see vegan brand Tropic soap in the toilet. Would pop in again.

Best cupcakes EVER - Edit
Came across it by accident while walking the city walls, small but cosy and quirky, lots of items to look at. We only stopped for a smoothie and a coffee but I was tempted by a bakewell cupcake and OMG, it was sooo good! Menu looked good for a small place and staff were lovely. Would definitely go back

Basic food, nice staff - Edit
We called in for lunch and had a Buddha bowl and a panini. We were the only customers. The seating was not comfortable. The food was all very basic, and quite bland. It took quite a long time for them to prepare the food as well, which was putting together cold ingredients, and putting a panini in a press. Presentation was good but the flavour did not deliver. We wouldn’t go back.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. At Vegan Deva we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and it is disappointing that we did not have the opportunity to rectify the situation in person. We hope that you give us another try if you’re in Chester again at some point in the future :)

Beautiful little cafe with products to buy also - Edit
Up on the walls, a wonderful cafe with bright and cheery staff. Several lunch food options, coffee, cake and an ice cream sundae on the menu. A delight to watch the world go by at the window seats.

Small but lovely 🌿 - Edit
Situated on Chester’s Roman walls, this little café only has seating for around 8 people. However, it’s such a warm and inviting space and the food is great.

Spontaneous trip - Edit
We were on the way to wetherspoons as the vegan places listed in the area did not suite what we wanted, but then one of my group noticed the sign on the wall and we decided to head in.
Read moreWe were greeted by two lovely and warm members of staff who had a very good level of customer service. The place is small but cosy and the menu consists of entirely vegan comfort style food, perfect for lunch!
Additionally, we learnt the cafe had only been open a week and I was very proud to support an independent vegan business! So glad they are on happy cow now, I definitely recommend and will definitely go back if I am in the area again
Pros: Entire menu is vegan, Friendly staff, Can pay by card
