Fed me chicken when I ordered vegan - Edit
I used to really like this place, but I would no longer recommend it for vegans.
Read moreThe menu had changed since we last visited, and now all foods are divided into sections. The last section has all their vegan options on. There were a choice of three vegan curries and five starter options.
In the same column as all the vegan foods (under the heading "Into the Wild...plant based") were sides. We ordered a side of Thai crackers, but when these were brought out they were very fishy and we questioned whether they were vegan. The staff told us that they weren't, they were regular prawn crackers. The staff were understanding, and agreed that the menu placement of the sides was misleading, and kindly removed them from the table and the bill. Another member of staff did try to bring them back to us a minute later, but we cleared that up.
One of the starters was a Tom Yum soup, supposed to be veg and tofu. I put a piece of what I thought was tofu in my mouth only to be met with a tough, rubbery piece of flesh. Giving the soup a stir revealed that I'd been served a chicken Tom Yum soup instead. I felt devastated.
A member of the wait-staff clarified I'd been given non-vegan food instead of vegan, and removed the soup. She was apologetic and sympathetic, and did arrange a £10 discount from the bill, but I'm definitely never trusting 9 Elephants again.
Pros: The vegan Massaman curry was tasty
Cons: Poor menu design , Inattentive handling of order, Served me meat :(

Seriously scrummy - Edit
Had a beautiful meal here tonight. Food tasted really fresh, and the sauces were absolutely delicious. The veg had just the right amount of crunch. I will definitely be returning.

Delicious Thai food - Edit
Ate here multiple times & the food is delicious majority of the time. Sometimes it feels like the ingredients could be fresh rather than pre brought but the flavour brings it all together for a great tasting dish

Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. I had gyoza and Thai green curry which was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from and everything is clearly labelled.

Great vegan options - Edit
Thai is my favourite food, and this was one of the best Thai restaurants I've been too. It's a shame it's not fully vegan, but pretty much everything could be made vegan which was fab. Really nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and attentive and gave us some free drinks as it was our mini moon. Will definitely go back!

Great Thai food with clearly-labelled options - Edit
I went here with a couple of work colleagues who aren't vegan. The menu is the usual Thai offerings, with most being available in a vegan option, all clearly labelled.
