Huge and Tasty South Indian Thali

This place is attached to the Belstead Hotel where I'm staying. It's probably a bit upscale for Chennai. Nice ambiance. Plenty of people the for late lunch at 3:30 PM. Has the South Indian Thali (225 INR). Much bigger than I'm accustomed to. I think it would be enough for two to share. 11 items plus nan and papad, and rice. Very friendly staff and good service. I often order the thali at Indian restaurants, and this one was really outstanding. As my friend Kevin used to say, "an orgy of flavors". Recommended.

Pros: Excellent thali plate, Nice ambiance, Big portions

Cons: A little pricy for India
