A few options.

Most restaurants have few vegan options. This place had a fair number of vegan and vegetarian options. Service was fast, and food was acceptable.

If you're looking for a quick family meal, there should be something for everyone.

Nice pizzas

A bit disappointed by the few vegan options there, but it was the only restaurant still open.
The pizzas were good, we swapped the cheese for a vegan one.

Don’t bother - terrible food

Our expectations were pretty low for this place but it managed to actually be even worse than expected.
Not only was the pasta bland and (despite the price) lacking in ingredients/vegies, but the pasta itself was all clumped and uncooked in parts.
You’d thing being able to boil pasta would be a pre-requisite for an Italian restaurant but apparently not!
We sent one in the dishes back and they remade it - but it was actually worse…this time the pasta was cooked but there was pretty much nothing else sort from pasta in the dish. No pesto, no vegies, just a bland bowl of spaghetti for $28.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Poor quality for the price.

This is not good Italian food at all and expensive for the cost. What you get is uninspiring food that as bad as when I got this IN Europe.

Uninspired

Went with an omnivore group, and was enticed by vegan options on the menu. Had a cheeseless pizza which ticked the box but did nothing to recommend itself. Of course the meat and cheese eaters were happy, maybe their food was made well, not so for the humble vegan.
Drinks were expensive and *seemed* watered down.
Nothing to really recommend, but if you're with a group of carnipeople, there's probably [censored]-all other options in the city at night.

Pros: has vegan options, open at night

Cons: dull, expensive, poor acoustics

Casual but expensive

Casual Vapino restaurant as I know it from Europe but compared to European prices very expensive. Food quality is the same though, fresh, quick made and however you want it, just tell the cook.

Nice pasta

Cute restaurant where you can see your pasta being made and order from around 5 options :) flavour was really nice but the price is a bit high for what you get. Also has soy milk if you want to order a coffee after

Pros: Watch your food being made, Flavoursome , Large portion sizes

Cons: No vegan cheese, A bit pricey , No vegan options for the pizzas

Staff needs training - but filling Italian comfort food

Trust the vegan options on the menu!! Unfortunately had a mishap where I asked the pasta chef whether the pumpkin tortellini could be made vegan and was told yes - yet when I took my first bite it was obvious it wasn’t so...this, despite clarifying no butter or cheese (it also contains egg btw). The staff were quick to apologise and fix up the delicious and super saucy vegan ratatouille pasta (I chose tagliatelle) for me instead, and I understand the chef might’ve innocently forgotten about contents of the tortellini itself, but hopefully they will be trained further.

Pros: Decor & atmosphere, Filling & yummy, Clearly marked vegan options

Cons: Staff needs better training..., So just trust the marked vegan options!!, Expensive

Yummy but not many vegan options

Plenty of vegetarian dishes but only 1 entré and 1 main vegan.
Love the fresh basil on every table.

Disappointing

Was excited to try this place out but found it overpriced, boring and disappointing. Vegan options marked on menu, but I received literally pasta and tomato pasta sauce for $17. Could of made this at home for $2. Staff were mostly rude. Please don't even bother if you're vegan!

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing setting

Cons: No service, Overpriced, Tasteless vegan options

Basic italian pizza and pasta

This is a good place to go to if you're dining out with other people who are not vegan/vegetarian.

There are vegan choices on the menu, and these are clearly labelled. However, it is your typical vegan italian food, i.e pasta with tomatoe sauce, or pasta with roast veggies. That's it for the pastas.

Having said that though, it is pretty nice, if a little boring.

The queue can take ages though if you get there when it is busy. You have to queue to order and then watch them make it, and THEN you go and sit down. There is no table service. It kind of feels like a buffet, except you have to wait for them to cook your food. Cooking time is not too long, it is the queue time and the fact you have to wait for everyone's meals to be made individually.

Pros: Vegan options shown on menu, Nice food

Cons: Limited vegan choice, Food can take a while / long queues, No table service

Overpriced

They serve decent pasta, but it's overpriced for a fairly small meal to start with. Ask for mushroom or veggies as extras otherwise you'll just get pasta and sauce.

Pros: lots of space

Cons: poorly lit, overpriced
