Good nutrition - Edit
The set menu is a safe choice with various plant based options to choose from. The soup was very well seasoned and the vegan cheese on the tacos really creamy. I also liked the chewy, moist brownie. The team was amicable and helpful. Outstanding value for money.

Home cooked, healthy grub - Edit
The menu of the day for $105 with drink, dessert, soup and main is a steal. The food is nothing mind blowing but it’s tasty, wholesome and healthy. Service was excellent.

Lugar de comida saludable - Edit
Pedimos el menú. Hacía frio y el caldito de entrada nos cayó de perlas. La musaka fué muy llenadora pero un poco insípida. Nos hubiera gustado probar mas cosas, pero ya será en otra visita.

Excellent vegan tlayudas! - Edit
I had been trying to find tlayudas at a place that understands plant-focused cooking, not somewhere that would just hold the animal products. Trigo Verde is the place! The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The combo of vegan chorizo and avocado was excellent as tlayuda filling.

Good - Edit
I tried the menu del dia and was happy to have fresh food with many veggies. The portion was ok... Could be a bit more filling. 85 pesos seemed fair/cheap though.

Decent - Edit
This place is not vegetarian (they serve meat) and the location on the map is not completely accurate - just one block east of where it is marked. Vegan options are clearly marked on their menu. Had the soy burger which was basic but good. Attentive staff, nice store attached to the restaurant. Overall a good experience.

Tasty & affordable - Edit
I had the quesadillas with extra vegetables because I’m gluten intolerant so the burrito wasn’t an option for me a choco banana smoothie, both really tasty and cheap!! I wouldn’t go again and again since the vegan options are not endless but it was really satisfying when I went😄

Has vegetable/fruit wash, & packaged refrigerated vegan cheese, so go for that. - Edit
This place has a tiny number of foods in stock, including a few vegan items in a small refrigerator. Most of the shelf space is supplements, if you want that kind of thing. They do have vegetable/fruit wash, which is not easy to find. Also, at the time of writing, they had silken tofu in a shelf stable package. I did not expect to find that anywhere in Oaxaca. Most of the few shelf stable foods they do have in stock are not vegan. Although, they did point to a tray of pastries that they said were vegan. All were made with white flour and didn’t look that appealing so I didn’t get any. Someone eating there told me that the food was great, but I didn’t try it because reviewers have gotten all different stories from the people who work at this place about whether the food was vegetarian or not. The menu was prominently posted on the wall, and ham was prominently listed as an option in many dishes, with no accompanying statement that it was faux or vegetarian. So beware.

Simple and tasty - Edit
Super simple setup with some menu items and a menu of the day too. When I was there the menu of the day was only vegetarian with cheese, so I had taco al pastor and aqua del dia. It was nothing fancy, but simple and tasty. No plugs for charging electronics at the tables, but they can do it at the counter for you. Wi-fi was ok.

It’s okay - Edit
The place is not very charming, the burgers aren’t the best and the salad seemed a bit old... I guess it’s okay if you just want to have a quick snack or a burger to go. In the store though you can buy soya burgers and other vegan stuff. Also the stuff is very friendly!

One of the worst experiences - Edit
This place was a huge disappointment! First of all, it is not a vegetarian place, they serve meat. They didn’t have any vegan cake as stated in the menu, neither did they carry any other vegan goodies or baked goods other than bread. Some of their cookies were not even labeled with the ingredients list. Their vegan version of some traditional Mexican foods are very disappointing and not tasty at all. You’re better off going to the food markets and ask for the most boring veganized version of the tostadas or tacos there. Sad to say that this is among the worst places I have eaten in Mexico.

Yummy and cheap - Edit
This place is a vegetarian restaurant that serves lots of vegan options. They also have vegan groceries along with the vegetarian groceries. Talked with the manager (maybe owner) and he’s said there’s no meat served here. Also the chocolate cake with strawberries inside was amazing! The menu was mostly Mexican typical plates made vegan/vegetarian. In the cute area of Oaxaca. Also they have kombucha!!

Had breakfast here a few times and the food was great! The people at the cashier however aren't really informed about plant based options, so it's important to ask about each ingredient.
