Big range of food - Edit
I went here twice for dinner in 2 days and there were slight changes in food, which was nice to try new things. There was alot of vegan options (staff member said about 80%) and everything was clearly labelled.
Read moreMy absolute favourite was the egg salad. Also really liked the chilli non carne, and potato salad. The edamame dip was refreshing, and loved the range of dips - especially the house, tzitziki, and lentil pate.
You get a free bread roll with your meal, but they're not the soft fluffy bread.
The restaurant is spacious with welcoming decor, and conveniently in the train station.

Sooo, you are hungry and waiting for a train? If that's the case this place is a must! Open buffet with many variaties of vegan and vegetarian food. Everything is labelled very well and the quality is also good. Great place for the curious foodies who like to try out many different things at once.

Big fan of Tibits - Edit
I love Tibits! Lucerne is the fourth one I’ve been to and it’s just as good as the other branches. Great selection of dishes, cakes and drinks. The restaurant itself is in the main train station but doesn’t feel like it, has a lovely calm feel. The staff are exceptional, very friendly and enthusiastic.

Multiple choices, mostly vegan in a buffet style. Protein options are limited. Delicious food. Even my meat-eating partner praised the food multiple times. That was a surprise. Even most of the desserts are vegan and tasted exceptional. The peanut butter brownie and passion fruit cheesecake was a balance of crunchy and sweet but not too sweet. The greatness comes with an expense- a medium plate of food is $20-30/CHF.

Tidbits is of spectacular value for those eating out in Switzerland when you bring your own container for to-go. Costs only €3/100g. Not cheap but it’s over 50% less than Hitl.
Read moreThere is a large variety spanning European, Middle Eastern, and south Asian. Nearly all the options are vegan. The spring rolls, falafel, and cheesecake were the most tasty and memorable. The setting is beautiful, location convenient, and the staff friendly.

This is a buffet style restaurant where your food is weighed and you pay per 100g. There's a large selection of hot and cold items, ranging from Indian to Italian and Mediterranean, with some German fare as well. Nearly all of the offerings are vegan.

Eigentlich gibt es an der Lage (oberhalb der Gleise im Hauptbahnhof Luzern), der Einrichtung / Ambiance und dem Service nichts zu meckern. Wir sind neu in dem Ganzen (pflanzlich essen) und haben eher immer zu Hause alles selbst gekocht und vorbereitet und vielleicht deshalb sind wir etwas verwöhnt mit der Qualität und Geschmack vom Essen selbst. Sachen, die Menschen eher vielleicht davon abhalten "vegan" zu essen.

PS: Es ist extrem schwer in der Zentralschweiz Restaurants zu finden, welche eine breite Auswahl an pflanzliche Frühstücksgerichte offerieren.

Actually, there is nothing to complain about the location (above the tracks in the Lucerne main station), the facility / ambiance and the service. We are new to this whole thing (plant-based eating) and have rather always cooked and prepared everything ourselves at home and perhaps therefore we are somewhat spoiled with the quality and taste of the food itself. Things that tend to maybe keep people from eating "vegan", that is.
Maybe it's just a matter of taste. Maybe it's just the somewhat meager selection for breakfast items. We may come back, but try something for the slightly later meals, like the lunch and dinner dishes.
PS: It is extremely difficult to find restaurants in central Switzerland that offer a wide selection of plant-based breakfast dishes.

Ich war nun schon sehr häufig im Tibits und wurde bislang auch noch nie enttäuscht. Das Buffet hat meistens sehr viele vegane Speisen im Angebot. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass man dank der Selbstbedienung je nach Hunger mehr oder weniger nehmen kann. Die hausgemachten Getränke sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Es gibt jedoch auch noch 1-2 kleine Kritikpunkte. Zum einen wird es schnell ziemlich teuer, was meinen Erfahrungen nach vor allem omnivore Besucher etwas abschreckt. Das ist meines Erachtens etwas schade, da das Tibits für jeden und jede etwas zu bieten hat! Zudem ist das lokal häufig ziemlich voll, was die Atmosphäre leider etwas stört. Alles in allem trotzdem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Reataurant, das ich auf jeden Fall auch in Zukunft noch oft besuchen werde.

Amazing selection of vegan food. Everything was well-marked. I enjoyed everything that I tried. I don’t like the pay by weight concept though. This was one of 3 vegan restaurants on my trip that used this concept. It’s difficult to know how much you’re spending for your meal and I spent way more than I budgeted at each of these restaurants as a result.

This place is located above the train station and that was helpful in itself. A variety of dishes to choose from. Expansive salad bar as well. Main entree's change day to day. It was quite convenient so I ate there twice during my 3 day stay in Lucern.

This vegetarian restaurant is inside the train station. It has a buffet and you pay for what you eat (4,30 CHF per 100g for lunch there). Lots of vegan options and there is an English translation of the cards with the name of the food.
