Characterful cafe

Booked a table for a small family celebration. Picked it as it is dog friendly indoors and had several vegan options. We were allowed to bring our own birthday cake and balloons and given plenty of time to relax. I had the soup which was spiced lentil and was delicious and the vegan roll which was curried lentil. It was served with side salad and relish. Both dishes would have been adequate on their own along with a pudding. He had the fry which had a good variety of items and was not greasy. Reasonably priced. We didn’t try the beers on this occasion.

Nice food and friendly staff

Plant steak and chips was great as well as chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream!
