Popped in and had vegan lemon drizzle cake 10 out of 10 oat lattes and daughter had the vegan Oreo milkshake (she loved it) and served by a really friendly happy lady.👍

I had an absolutely delicious Biscoff oat milk shake here. Bit pricey at £4 but this is Britain in 2023. Can’t complain. Lovely staff member and fresh clean interior with a nice outside seating area on the newly pedestrianised street.

I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan cake on the menu and good coffee with oat milk. The cafe is in the centre of Alnwick so very convenient. The lady who served us was very friendly.

Had the most lovely experience at The Origami Cafe. I got the vegan almond bakewell slice which was delicious, full of flavour and so moist. The owner (I presume she was the owner) recommended the Oreo milkshake which was delicious, all the milkshakes can be made vegan that have a vegan base (eg. Jammie dodger and Biscoff). The owner was so lovely and helpful, she was a ray of sunshine and really made our visit. I will definitely be returning when I come to Alnwick!

Lovely cafe, lovely owner, several vegan options & oat milk available. All drinks served in disposable cups is only small downside, would like an option to drink in reusable cups. I think they were recyclable but not sure.

Cafe is beautifully decorated. The owner was really helpful with vegan options, which were clearly marked out. Had an oreo milkshake with a slice of lemon and elderflower cake, both delicious!

Read morePopped in with the family. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. She helped the kids choose what to have, made vegan (Oreo) versions of the milkshakes and pointed me towards a delicious lemon drizzle cake. Lovely!

Amazing vegan cake and milkshakes! - Edit
We had the vegan lemon drizzle cake and soya oreo milkshake with a cup of tea. Everything was absolutely AMAZING, we will definitely be returning when we're next in Alnwick. The lady who runs the shop and cafe is so polite and friendly, she gave us little origami birds when we left. Lovely little place. (Side note - not a criticism - we originally thought there was savoury food but it's actually only sweet things, just a warning!)

Amazing Milkshakes - Edit
Lovely staff, owner and decor. They offer loads of vegan milkshakes and a vegan cake option (although the lady told me that they would be bringing out more vegan options in the Summer). I can not recommend the vegan piña colada milkshake enough, it was the best milkshake I've ever had.

The coffee is delicious but that comes second to the scrumptious selection of cakes. Judy always has some delightful vegan options too. If you don't fancy the cake there are lots of milkshakes to choose from.

Judy at Origami has vegan cake options on a weekend and usually during the week too. She is so accommodating, so if you know that you are going just message her and she will make sure that she has a vegan option for you. She has vegan milkshakes and the coffee is lovely.
