Didn’t blow me away

The barman was a bit on the rude side, my drink cost more than my steak and the food was at best lukewarm. Had the seitan steak and chips, the broccoli was a pile mush. The steak had a good flavour but I like hot food. The server was friendly and sweet though… she was the only redeeming feature. I doubt I’d go there again.

Pros: Server with green and black hair, Outdoor seating

Cons: Cold food, Expensive drinks, Disappointing bar service

Poor

The Mad Robot could improve by adding more vegetables and larger portions. Offering gravy in a jar. Offer condiments. Offer napkins. Asking if everything is ok. Not overcooking everything. Reducing the price. (Keeping their personal and negative opinions about their customers to themselves).

Pros: Conveniently located

Cons: Poor quality food, Small portions, Poor customer service

Vegan Roasts / Meet Ups

I love this place. It’s a pub so as well as food people can have a drink especially welcome in hot summers. It’s situated just off the Seafront near the Palace pier and independent shops so ideal for holiday makers.
I hold Vegan meet-ups here regularly on Sundays (usually the First and third Sundays) because I love the seitan Roasts. They are the best value in Brighton at only £12.

Pros: Seitan Roasts on Sundays, other meals in the week., Lots of space outside and additional room upstairs, Lovely welcoming staff
