Vegan chicken options - Edit

Great place for vegan chicken burgers and vegan chicken wings. I had the classic vegan chicken burger and my friend had the Jennifer Buffalopez (vegetarian). We both really enjoyed our burgers. Definitely would go here again.

I would definitely go back again! Food was really tasty and good texture. Long wait time because it's so popular but worth it.

Great tasting sauce - Edit

I had the Bokadoosh Tenders & Fries & thought it was delicious, I believe a Korean sauce that's both sticky & a slight hint of BBQ. Been putting off going there as it's a Chicken shop, but have to say it was really good & would go back (for take out)

Good vegan chicken - Edit

This place offers real chicken as well as vegan fake chicken. I had a vegan chicken burger and some fries which were really good. Although the burger was a bit small for the price. I don't know if I would go back since there are many all-vegan places in Brighton I would prefer.

Pros: great vegan chicken

Cons: serves meat, a bit pricey

Not great - Edit

I was really excited to try their burgers and katsu fries but everything was disappointing. Some members of staff were being openly rude to others when we collected. We all found the satay burger dry, small and quite unimpressive for almost £10 a hit. The curry fries were good but it was just sauce and fries - the restaurant had not bothered to add any of the 3 garnishes included on the menu, so they were not sold as seen. The food did taste good but everything was a letdown, it seemed like they could try harder.

Delicious vegan chicken - Edit

I‘ve been to Bok Shop so many times and even my boyfriend, who still eats meat, loves their vegan burgers! My go-to meal are the katsu fries. with the Gin long drink (from Finland). I recently also tried the torched sweetcorn and really liked it! I can only recommend Bok Shop!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Easy-going and passionate staff, Good deals

Cons: Not many seats in the restaurants

Good to have the option, but.. - Edit

..needs work. Ordered the vegan classic burger as part of a combo, but was served real chicken. They were apologetic and offered a replacement, but my replacement food was stone cold. It's great that the option is there but I won't be back in a hurry :(

Great place for all - Edit

I regularly visit here with friends and my family, it has something for everyone! I’m vegan and a lot my friends/family are not and I used to struggle eating out with them as one of us wouldn’t be satisfied. BOK Shop is my go to all day long and has allowed me to enjoy eating out with people who have different eating choices! Grab some tenders, a burger and katsu chips - won’t be disappointed!

Four chicken burgers on the menu and can all be veganised. Also had a couple of vegan starter and side options. Had the classic vegan chicken burger and was lovely, was very juicy and not dry at all like some other vegan chicks burgers! Not too expensive either.
