A beautiful place that offers several vegan options. We ordered a toast with guacamole, cucumber, tomato, and mixed leaves, which was very tasty. They also have several vegetable milk (soy, oat, almond and coconut).

Extremely disappointing - Edit
I visited this cafe on a Sunday early afternoon (2.30pm). The only vegan food option was a vegan toasty. I ordered, paid 7 euros and waited 30 minutes to be served 2 slices of toasted bread with a watered down tasteless version of a quacomoly with a few salad leaves as well as a few tomato and cucumber slices. The toasty neither tasted good nor was it in any way filling. A bit of hummus or a slice of avocado or tofu would have been a welcome addition but this version was extremely disappointing. Not recommended.

Vegan choice not good - Edit
Vegan toastie was two slices of thick, insufficiently toasted bread, with no butter or olive oil and the bare minimum tomato and avocado. Not satisfying or pleasant at all. Could really do better with this. Only vegan option there. Do oat milk for coffees etc.

Pleasant Book Cafe - Edit
There was no hummous when we ate there but they do have vegetarian toasties (sandwiches)- vegan guacamole and caprese with mozzarella cheese. Also good hot chocolate.

Cute little cafe with one vegan option: the vegan sandwich was very delicious. Unfortunately, they didn't have any vegan cakes but they had plant-based milk.

Vegan options? - Edit
I see previous reviews in 2021 etc had vegan options available. When I swung by perhaps four to six months ago, there was unfortunately no vegan lunch options at all available. It was unclear were things sold out, or just not on offer.

Cute and cosy place - Edit
Nice little coffee place with a wide selection of books for sale. The owner was an aviation pilot so the place is full of aviation pictures, books and other memorabilia. They don't have many vegan options, but they have toasts and muesli. Ah! And they do toasts for 1€!

Cozy Adorable - Edit
This place is downright the cutest, sitting just a block off the quay. It’s got a big book selection, all in great condition despite being secondhand, and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The menu isn’t huge, but the staff are more than helpful and accommodating.

Lovely Kinsale spot with vegan options - Edit
Poet’s Corner is a cute little cafe where you can trade a book (in good condition) for another used book. You can also enjoy hot/cold drinks and sweet and savory snacks. For vegans, they have soup, a sandwich, a salad, some pastries, and plant-based milk for coffee/tea.
