Great vibe but very limited vegan option - Edit
Great cafe with lots of patrons and outside seatings in the back. Only 2 vegan options. One was the Dahl which is everywhere so I did not choose. I had the mushroom toast which was a vegan adaptation (same toast but without the creamy sauce and the Parmesan shavings. It was well made and tested good.

Good breakfast/brunch options - Edit
There are 3 vegan options for breakfast, they must have updated the menu from previous reviews. Lovely setting and atmosphere and the veggie breakfast was yummy. Milk alternatives for drinks also. I didn't check the lunch or dinner menu but I presume it would also have good options.

Only one real vegan option, the Dahl, which was ok but a bit cold.

Don't bother - Edit
Has only two vegan options both of which are very insubstantial.
Read moreThe vegan breakfast amounts to little more than beans on toast despite the fact it is more expensive than the traditional breakfast.
Would recommend avoiding if you want anything more than a cup of coffee.

Good enough - Edit
There’s only 2 vegan options in the menu, with few more veggie options for food and cakes. The same only vegan sweet was a flapjack, nothing special but nice with the coffee. Vegan breakfast was a bit simple but this was the only open option in Kinsale at the time so it was good enough. Coffee and Chai latte was quite good.

underwhelming vegan flap jack that flopped - Edit
Not tasty. Generous two stars because we had a nice hot pot of tea with oat milk on a cold rainy day. Flap Jack's are easy to make and difficult to make badly but the Lemon Leaf managed this feat. Oh how I wish it had been good.

Careless preparation - Edit
Why would any place serving a so called Vegan Breakfast place a portion of animal butter on the plate?

Disappointing as a vegan - Edit
We just stopped in here for tea and cake on a rainy day. Unfortunately the only vegan dessert is a flapjack (which looking at the reviews here they literally haven't branched out from since 2018 which is a real shame). I had come here before in 2018 as a vegetarian and there were a few vegetarian options for lunch at that time. I had expected in the last few years that they would have built on their vegan options as so many others have but sadly not. The flapjack itself was bland and very soft, falling apart straight away. I would not recommend this place based on this experience, however other reviews here speaking about the lunch menu seem to have enjoyed their meals.
Read moreCurrently there is only one vegan dessert option (flapjack), one vegan brunch menu option (vegan breakfast) and one vegan lunch menu option (flatbread). I would ask the owners to consider expanding their vegan options.

Vegan savoury and sweet options - Edit
Several items on the menu marked Vegan. The arancini are an unusual choice which I was excited to see but I did find them a little tasteless. Nice vegan flapjack for dessert
