Was veg - still great - Edit
This spot used to be vegetarian but added what they call “real” shrimp and chicken to the menu, which makes me wonder if everything else not labeled real is actually imaginary? Anyway! Food was excellent and everything has a vegan base - if you want “real” food then you have to ask for it. The server was nice but service was sorely lacking on our night. They seemed understaffed, but there were only two parties dining so … we never got a water refill and when we ordered we mentioned we’ll be ordering dessert later, but she didn’t return until after the kitchen closed and never ask for our dessert order. Strange. Still got dessert! All the food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Crack head behind the building aggressively followed us to our car - too close for comfort - so be warned if leaving after dark, women.

Served me chicken! - Edit
Every time we order, there is something wrong with the order. This time, they gave me chicken instead of tofu - I made sure to order vegan and the receipt says vegan and tofu. Calling back to get things straightened out is always a pain too.

Fried Rice - Edit
My spicy friend rice was way to greasy which makes for an unenjoyable eats. Service is fine. Location in the heart of city. This use to be all vegan and at some point organic. Such has changed. Quality of food is dependent on who is cheffing at the time.

Soggy onion rings - Edit
This was one of the only place with vegan offerings in ABQ open, but unfortunately the food was no good and fairly pricey for what was given. Onion rings were soggy and barely fried, Pad Thai was dry, sticky and flavorless. The menu was confusing as to what was vegan and what wasn’t.

Osuna location is excellent! - Edit
My boyfriend and I were in need of a good meal after a long drive from OKC (band tour life 🤷♀️), and Happy Cow led us to this little gem. Road weary and borderline hangry, we ordered and received our food in less than 10 minutes (with appetizers arriving in about 5). The dinner combination platters offer a great portion size, and were very delicious! Tried the Praram Plate (seriously some of the BEST peanut sauce I’ve tasted...and I’ve tasted a LOT of them) as well as the cashew nut with pepper steak. The Thai tea was also tasty. The prices were more than reasonable, and the service was fast and friendly (only one server, but she managed to handle the whole room well.)
Read moreI can’t speak for the other location offering meat, but I can say that the Osuna location is fully vegan and well worth a visit.

Calling a place Vegan while serving meat is messed up - Edit
Was I somehow supposed to know that "Heritage" meant meat. To me "Heritage & Vegan" means that it is both Heritage (whatever that means) and it is Vegan.
Read moreThis place should not have the word Vegan in the name. Many vegans like me and my partner who went here last weekend after an 18 mile run, are ethical vegans, which means that Veganism is not just a diet for us it is our whole worldview: that doing unnecessary harm to animals whose lives are structurally equivalent to our own is immoral, irrational and hypocritical, if we value our own lives why would we take pleasure in devaluing lives that are just like our own?
So after the two of us starving athletes, figured out that the "meat" on the menu was literally meat, we were out of there. I would rather support a place that inadvertently sells vegan options, than a place that uses the term Vegan the way greedy corporations have undermined environmental progress with green-washing - am not supporting a place that abuses the term Vegan this way. Would you buy a coat that was Fox Fur & Vegan?
Cons: This place does not know the meaning of Vegan, Foodborne illness results from cross contamination, Hard to distinguish between fake and real meats

So many fun options - Edit
The whole back half of the menu (in green) is vegan and there are lots of choices. We had the spring rolls, Phad Thai, and orange chicken and all were really good and so were their sauces. The portions were large so we got to bring home leftovers, which were also good the day after. It was a nice place to sit after a long drive and have a relaxing dinner while we worked and used the free wifi.

It's great visiting a restaurant and not having to ask " What's in this?" EVERYTHING is great and vegan!! I've tried many menu items and have never been disappointed. Absolutely amazing vegan thai food - Edit
Went there with a friend and we both thought the food was amazing. Tempura was very good and the Tom Kha Gai (with vegan chickn) I had was delicious. Had to take almost half home though because I couldn't finish it. We shared a scoop of all their flavours of ice cream: mango, coconut and green tea (all great, mango and coconut a bit better than the green tea still). Restaurant was relatively quiet, staff were very friendly. Price was good too.

Now serving Real Animal Products - Edit
This is my favorite vegan place. I come here every time I come to town. But now this time. I was offered two menus. One vegan menu and one non vegan menu. Why? Why did they start serving animal products when they have been true vegan for a long time. Super disappointed. The food is always so yummy. Just wish they didn’t support such things. Idk if they share a grill. 🤷🏼♀️

Decent Food, but not so Great Service. - Edit
First and foremost, the place was extremely busy on a Friday night - every table was full and there were only two servers. The server was inattentive but the food came out somewhat fast. The “freshly rolls” were salad wrapped in rice paper and extremely dry, even with sauce. The spicy noodle dish combo was very good and we both enjoyed eating it. My order was incorrect and when I asked about it they lied and said it could have not been a combo aka they were too lazy to take it back in the kitchen and redo. Overall, an ok experience. We’re still waiting to pay....it’s been a year and a half. We finally got up after no one came to us and the tables were still dirty people started to clean them themselves and move the dirty dishes to sit because there was no room

fantastic food... a bit unorganized - Edit
I am giving 5 stars simply because the food is awesome! They have some of the best sweet and sour sauce I have ever tried, their peppered steak is amazing, and they make Thai hot wings that will make you forget about BWW.
Read moreMy only gripe is that it is a bit unorganized. The entrance is always strewn with receipts and papers and it feels like you’re in their back office rather than the customer-facing space.
Friday night they have Thai dancing, which is beautiful but gets in the way of dinner conversation and felt a bit awkward to us. We have avoided dining in Friday nights for this reason.
All the mild complaints aside, the food is amazing and I will continue to support Thai Vegan as long as they’re here!

Pretty good thai food! - Edit
First, it is so great that everything on the menu is vegan. It made the whole process of deciding what to get so much easier! We did take out so I can't speak to the location itself. My husband wanted to try something specifically Thai so he decided to get the red curry. He added soy shrimp since he had never had/heard of soy shrimp before. He got the dinner combo, which included a salad, brown rice and a fried spring roll. The flavor of the red curry was amazing! But the menu described it as spicy which it wasn’t. The rice was a tad bland but when you add the red curry, it was great! The spring roll and salad were both good. We also got three appetizers, grand tempura, French fries, and red chili dumplings. The dumplings were definitely the highlight of the meal. They were perfectly spicy and so flavorful. It came with a dipping sauce but didn’t even need it. The tempura were really good with the sauce but on their own, they were a tad bland. The carrots and zucchini pieces were too crunchy so they could have used a bit more cooking time. However, the broccoli were perfect! I wanted to try one of their burgers so I ordered their cowboy burger (they make their own seitan for it) with vegan cheese. It comes with avocado, lettuce, salsa and veganaise. I asked to add tomato and to put the salsa and avocado on the side (didn’t want it to be mushy). They called after I placed the order to tell me they were out of the cowboy burger. I asked if their soy chicken burger was fried but the person on the phone didn’t know. So, I said to replace it with the soy chicken only if it was fried and to nix the cheese. If it wasn’t fried, I said to replace it with their other vegan burger instead and to keep toppings as ordered. I didn’t think that was too confusing. However, when I got my food they had given me the fried soy chicken burger but with cheese and they had put the avocado on it and forgotten the salsa all together. They also didn’t give me tomato. The avocado wasn’t ripe so I just removed it. Overall, it was still very good! We also ordered the fries appetizer. It was so big it came in two large take out containers. They were delicious! So, not perfect but good enough that we would definitely come back. However, next time we will dine in to try to minimize the issues we had.

I love being about to go to a restaurant and order anything off the menu! I got the veggie and "shrimp" tempura appetizer (which was great!) and the fresh ginger stir fry with "shrimp". It was the lunch combo, so it came with a salad (and yummy dressing) and 2 "egg" rolls. Plenty of food - I was happily full, but not over-stuffed :) I would love to come back to ABQ to eat here again!
